Looks like the "white labels" have actually been going for a little more. Fortunately, there's thousands upon thousands of both labels to go around. I don't even want to hazard a guess on what that Cap 1 cost Secondly, this thread was also created to compile data on the differences in the quantities of the white/black labels, not just to determine value of each. Thirdly, I think you'd need more than 1 example to compare (for the 9.8's in particular) to make a case about there not being a difference in end prices In the example you provided, though, you are correct in the 'end sale' result. After a quick search of the 450+ items that come up with 'walking dead 1 cgc 9.8', I saw 12 white labels (9.8's, 9.9, 9.6's) and 1 black label 9.4. Clearly, there are not thousands of each available (graded) on eBay at the moment - only the white label is in abundance on there (at lease in regard to the 9.8's graded). Don't even bother with him you are wasting you time. He has his mind made up on just about everything in the collecting community and nothing commands a premium when it comes to comics.

What tier? MST. Usually, I get them within 3.5 months. To not have shipped in 4 months has been a change. I've TWICE had shipments delayed because of an accounting error on the part of CGC. I wouldn't have known unless I called to check on the submission. As a public service, I implore everyone to call to check on their submissions if they appear to be later than expected based on posted TATs. CGC will rarely contact you to let you know there's a problem (even if they created it). I can't speak to your issues but twice I have had either Bree or Sam contact me, both times were my mistake in which I incorrectly wrote down something wrong on my invoice such as the issue number or quantity. They were quickly handled. I was also contacted once when my card didn't go through (guessing it was messy hand writing on my part). Finally books were marked as shipped, after 2 weeks of not getting them I asked for the tracking and for w/e reason they hadn't actually shipped but they were put out the door that day.

Links? So you're saying that diminishing print runs means less readers therefore less $. I'd be inclined to agree, but it doesn't explain the lack of $ from development deals. Folks can't do that for free, it costs dolla-dolla bills y'all. (BTW, where the heck is Jimmy Linguini? Doesn't he come running when hip-hop language is used in the forums? Like following a trail of rap bread crumbs..) He has his own site now with pretty regular updates on what he believes to be good spec books. I like his site and agree with him the vast majority of the time. I do miss him being as regular as he used to be on these boards. His colorful, creative, and sometimes provocative posts would help spice things up around here. I'm curious about this too. Anyone? Express and Standard are on time. Everything else is not. My walkthrough took 2 days about 3 weeks ago. I don't think standard would be 4 weeks but would 2 weeks surprise me no.

The 3.5 is lower than I thought it would be at this point based on the last sale. It will be interesting to see where it ends up. The 4.5 is fairly high already - next bid puts it at $4500 with the BP. I hope it hits close to $6K. I think that is a fair guess. I would assume the 4.5 ends then the 3.5? If so maybe people waiting to see if they win that one then settle for the 3.5.
