I think that's where I recalled it last here on the boards. I'm also genuinely shocked that there's only 3 9.8's and 3 9.6's total on the census. I just find that insane.

I've seen this briefly touched on a few times in the years I've been on here, but I've never really seen any thorough discussions as to why the first three issues of Men in Black are so underrated and possibly undervalued? The first issue has the first appearances of Agent J, Agent K, and Zed, who of course were the main characters in three pretty big and popular films. Is it overlooked because the CGC label doesn't list the first appearances, or is it because they were they released so far back they're not considered movie hype books? Would the release of the proposed 21 Jump St./MIB crossover movie have any impact at this point? It just boggles my mind the non-existant demand and the current prices they go far compared to far lesser (in my mind) movie hype "keys".

In 2020... If that drives speculation at this point I am going to start collecting something else. Better start looking for a new hobby then.

Since this thread 2 years ago I've bought and sold maybe 4-5 sealed copies...it's just a novelty in my opinion and nothing worth holding long-term thinking it will potentially steal the crown from BA #12.

It's missing the center wrap. Looks like it's missing more than that, the seller just updated the listing to say there are multiple missing pages from the "Humpback" story.

I noticed a Rai #0 CGC 9.8 popped up on eBay with that new labeling, they're asking quite a premium for it too.

What's a complete coverless worth these days? If coverless AF #15's can go in the $2,000 range, Hulk #1's can't be far behind.

I thought the movie news would bring out a lot more Harbinger #1 9.8's to the market, but I'm not seeing it. Any other Copper key in 9.8 would be all over eBay at crazy prices by now.

Also lost in the mix is his first "regular size" comic appearance from February 2009, although it still takes place in the movie universe:
