  1. I know there has been heavy debate in the past on what book is truly the first appearance of Phil Couslon, and the context of that appearance, but now it seems CGC has modified their labels to reflect their stance on it (see below.) It seems Coulson is in the same boat as Harley Quinn, with both characters having "first" appearances in comics that are movie or TV show tie-ins, and then years later finally have a "first" appearance in their respective regular comic universes. I'm not sure what the print run is on the Wal-mart Custom Comic, but it only came in certain Iron Man DVD bundles that Wal-mart sold in late 2008, and so far on the census, there's only my two universal 9.8 copies that I just got back, and two 9.8 Sig Series books.
  2. Had a smooth transaction with Diaolos...prompt payment and excellent communication. I wouldn't hesitate to sell or buy from him in the future. (thumbs u
  3. I'm wondering if there are going to be appearances of other key Valiant characters other than Harbinger and Bloodshot in the upcoming movies, sort of like how Valiant would slip in a quick cameo appearance in the comics when they introduced a new character.
  4. Post it up if you have a scan. (thumbs u
  5. I agree with Valiantman's line of thinking that Superman #75 was the unofficial end of the Copper Age, and this came out months before that. I also didn't want it confused with the Harbinger modern series that began in 2012.
  6. To start off, here's my graded copy from earlier this year, since sold:
  7. As one of the most high-profile books of the late Copper Age, and with renewed interest due to the rebirth and success of the new Valiant, I think it's time we celebrate the cornerstone of one of the most interesting comic universes. Post your copy here for all to behold...
  8. Looks like Asa Butterfield is the new Spider-Man: https://instagram.com/p/2rUUFuDpsE/
  9. Same here, I got mine from a new seller that had just created his eBay account days before.
  10. Anybody here own this or know who does?
  11. Another ticket in the club is up on the 'Bay, but it looks a little fishy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAPTAIN-AMERICA-COMICS-3-TIMELY-CGC-4-5-VG-UNRESTORED-RAR-wbr-E-1941-/321755103571?&_trksid=p2056016.m2518.l4276
  12. Looks like a bunch of terrible cosplayers, my low confidence in this movie just got lower.
  13. I've got a copy of the Justice League #1 2nd print combo pack edition, looks like now might be a good time to get it on the 'Bay. Thats DEFINITELY the toughest of the bunch. I have a copy of that one also and Im holding on to it. The Batman's are prolly the ones to "dump" now Hmm, if that's the toughest maybe I should hold as well. I bought it off the shelf at my LCS on release day since it had a black and white background on the cover instead of the regular cover's full color background.

  15. Pick your path. It's a collector's call how they feel about either book. Telling someone what they must believe in this case would be assuming much. Yeah, so in this case it's about feelings rather than facts? The details have been discussed extensively in this thread either way. 'Facts' are up to interpretation where you lean. Why, does that bother you? No it doesn't "bother" me, since I don't let feelings get in the way of facts.

  17. He's racking up the ignores left and right, especially after his juvenile post in the Gold section yesterday. I think you're a tad confused. I haven't posted in the Gold section recently. I was talking about CopperAgeKid.

  19. Yep, 0.3 for complete coverless copies, and 0.1 for anything below that, I.E. individual wraps, pages.
  20. Just got my coverless #29 back from being slabbed today, although it's not in a CGC/PGX holder.
