You would have to check the criteria on the pedigree page linked above to get a pedigree designated. Your book would have to meet those requirements before we would consider it. Good morning, If your book qualifies for a special label and the option is not coming up on your order form then it could mean you entered the book title incorrectly and the system is not recognizing it. If the book does qualify you can simply hand write your request on the packing slip, notating which book and which special label you would like. Or you can try your order again being sure to use only the drop down menu when selecting your book title. Thanks!

However, if you are submitting a book and you would like a first appearance listed that is not currently on the label, you should notate your request on your packing slip and on a sticky note attached to the comic bag and our graders can review at that time as well. All first appearance determinations are done at the discretion of the graders and a customer request does not always result in the first appearance being added. Good morning, thanks for your message. Is your book already in a CGC holder with a signature series label? If so, then you would want to send it to us still in the holder and we will crack it out here and the book would then retain the signature series label. If the book was not graded and comes in with an unwitnessed signature then the book would receive a green/yellow label. The unwitnessed signature would receive the green qualified part and the witnessed signature from the signing event would receive the yellow signature series part. Good morning! Label notations, such as a first appearances, are done at the graders discretion. If you would like to request a notation that is not currently in use for a particular book, you can put that request on your order by writing it on your packing slip as well as a sticky note on the comic bag so our graders will see it. Do you feel it was overgraded? If you feel the book was overgraded, you can send that back for a grader review. Our graders would not be able to make any determinations based on a picture, they would have to have the book in hand. I forwarded your question over to our graders and they advised that we did briefly list 1st appearance of Deacon Frost, however, we changed that when it was pointed out that the character appears in several issues of Tomb of Dracula prior to that issue (namely #13, 25, 42 and 44) If you have any other questions, please let us know.
