  1. +1 And it has begun. Replaced a BA horror book with a copy from the CLink auction. Upgraded my previous 9.2 ow/w to a 9.6 w. Will post it once the book is in hand.
  2. +1 Although I've sold half my slabs, I've been very selective about not selling my BA horror. Funny, I'm selling $1k slabs and I'm choosing to keep these $100 slabs. It's all in what you love.
  3. How about giving boardies first shot by throwing them up here? +1 I'll give it the old college try, but otherwise to auction they go.
  4. Is CGC trying to make board participants blindly ignorant to the hobby's dark underbelly? Silly question, I know. This all started a long time ago.
  5. I did buy these Suschas raw. I have the benefit of being two subway stops from Metropolis and checking them out with my own eyes. Nice Marvels--now wishing I didn't sell mine couple of years ago.
  6. Cool. Mine are in the CGC tomb. Kramerica has good stuff, in fact I did just agree to buy some stuff from him.
  7. How about giving boardies first shot by throwing them up here? I am, but I'm not going to make it a big production. Last time I tried selling my junk here no one was interested. If I throw some out and get bites, I'll put more heart into it. Let's face it, I'm probably the last man alive buying this stuff. I'm not talking about the cool Adams covers and 12centers. I'm talking about the 35 centers and 50 centers. Yessirree. I have good junk. I need to look, I have duplicate WWT #1s and WH #1 now. There might be some real goodies in with the "junk", but I need all of it gone. I was real surprised when multiple people approached me about my 50center HOM #290, I really think that one is going to be a sleeper hit in the future. And it's frickin hard to find, for a "yucky" modern.
  8. I will have dozens of bronze horror available in the next two weeks.
  9. I know your tastes are particular, but I am selling my undercopies this year. Not sure if ComicLink, eBay, or somewhere else. Should be late spring. I've personally spent more in the first few weeks of 2012 than the previous two years combined already (which isn't saying a lot cause I could put all the books I bought in a short CGC shipping box). Feels nice to be somewhat back into a collecting groove with the community, but better to be in a position to sell "what I don't like" to get what I do.
  10. I thought I'd NEVER get my copy. Finally snagged one in a ComicLink auction. Still looking for 175 and 205...
  11. I will have dozens of bronze horror available in the next two weeks. DC? CGC'd? Ony my want list?
  12. Yep, I sold all of the "popular" books so I can keep my carp...but it's the carp I love!
  13. Yes, some dealers are very proud of their raw books.
  14. I've bought and sold to Dale and is upstanding in every respect. Deal with him with great confidence. Hope all is well with you Dale!
  15. I've purchased and sold several Walking Dead certified books before it was fashionable to do so. Absolutely one of the good guys with solid service! You will be satisfied GUAR-AN-TEED.
  16. I've done several transactions with october over the years---it's always a pleasure and would not hesitate doing so again in the future!
  17. Always a pleasure to do business with nochips--great grading and packing!
  18. Absolutely! Over time though I think the Gold Key and Charltons from 1966 to 1973 or so would take second place. Hard for me to get excited about Marvels (not including monster titles) because most are reprints (although many covers kick arse!)
  19. Does your wife have a long lost sister because I think I'm married to her. my wife refuses to acknowledge that they even exist! I'm perplexed by these women who seem to think comics are "bad" or pretend they don't exist. Women have plenty of hobbies akin to comics: shoes, bags, ect. It's all relative. I agree. In all honesty, there was a certain imbalance of time and money spent on them which causes some deserved friction...but even now with it in balance, it serves as a "Wedge".
  20. Does your wife have a long lost sister because I think I'm married to her. It's all in the genes. .
  21. Oh I'm sure my wife will burn them in the front yard with a sigh of relief.
  22. Nice Steve...long time no talk. Hope you and family are doing well.
