  1. Did anyone else pick up issue 4 this week? If so, what did you think? Part 4 of Rick Grimes 2000 YASSSS! Lots of new developments! I noticed that at the end of the issue it said 'to be continued' and not 'to be concluded' in issue 5 which comes out next week - does this mean we may have more to come from Rick Grimes 2000???? See below for my fav cover of them all for issue #4 - that's no surprise, though, because I'm always gonna go with Adlard if his art is an option!
  2. Just kidding!@ I don't think that I'll ever be out of collecting Walking Dead books ... especially for the ones that contain new or creative content! These covers look SICK! Thanks for the update, Shawn!!! @bigclutch
  3. Then order more than one time I shall my friend! Thank you for the update, Shawn!!!
  4. Thank you! I think it's pretty awesome and I got it from my buddy Cyrus...he subbed it himself and got the 9.9 so it has a special place in my collection being a 9.9, a #1 reprint, coming from a fellow Kentucky friend...oh, and it's FOIL!!!
  5. Awesome, Shawn! Do you know if we'll be limited to purchasing only one set? Also, will there be multiple versions of the sets, a la regular print then sketch or foil prints? I know you may not can reveal that part yet but if you can it would help me prep my wallet
  6. The 'numero' thing like you leads me to believe it is indeed printed in Spanish but in most cases CGC denotes that...also none of the foreign editions UNLESS published in a similar time period (like the old Pence variants for Marvel silver age editions) aren't credited as first appearances. Like Tom said, here's an example of the WD#1 Mexican La Mole Foil Edition (similar to the UF4 I've been asking about) - it denotes on the label 'printed in spanish' & there is no 1st appearance of Rick Grimes notation. The UF4 La Mole should NOT be considered a first appearance unless there is more to the story and that's what I'd like to find out...exactly how a book published 9 years later than the introduction of a character is considered a 1st appearance because I don't get that compared to all the other foreign edition later published reprints that CGC has graded. I just don't understand why and I'm late to the Miles Morales game so if anyone knows please enlighten me
  7. Ask him if it was printed in Spanish and report back what you find out if you can…
  8. Do you have a copy and can verify it’s printed in Spanish? Most of the foreign editions say things like “reprinted in Spanish, etc.” But I’ve not seen that noted on any grades copies of this so is it for sure considered a foreign reprint? Also the reprints don’t typically give the note of a first appearance of characters…especially ones published 9 years later from the original character debut so I think there is more to this issue to explain that but I don’t know what it is 😂
  9. I absolutely agree but I think we should wait for the reveal from Skybound that the entire Rick Grimes 2000 saga will be printed together from start to finish in one complete issue! Or when it becomes an ongoing (a guy can dream )
  10. Hey fellow modern comic lovers! Can anyone explain to me why the UF4 La Mole edition - which is published 9 years after Miles' 1st appearance in the original UF4 - is credited a 1st appearance by CGC? I know this has to have been explained at some point somewhere else on here in this forum but I was 10 pages deep on my search and gave up and thought I'd ask the group. Were the copies lost in a warehouse for 9 years and didn't come to 'print' until 2020? Were they time capsuled and emerged in 2020 with the locusts? Someone with way more knowledge of this please fill me in just so I understand. SR
  11. I'm waiting to weigh in on this Unfortunately it's a lot to think about.
  12. Hey Shawn! Any chance we can get a print run # on this edition? I know that 250 are graded so I know it's at least that high but are there more copies coming of that one on the horizon or is it maxxed out at 250? If you can tell us, that is! Also - do we know when the connecting Skybound X cover will be sold in a CVL or on the site? I'm guessing it'll be after issue 5 comes out but thought I'd ask if you can give us that info, too (if you can). Ryan
  13. The Yoshi Yoani cover version of the Skybound X #1 Comics Vault Live Editions hit the census finally! Looks like we have 250 graded copies! I think it's odd that with the thicker cardstock covers that there are no 9.9's or higher for these but it looks like every single issue graded in at 9.8 which is awesome! Does this mean these are the only 250 copies coming to market? Or will other raw/graded copies emerge at a later point? Hey Shawn - any info you can give us on these would be appreciated! @bigclutch Hopefully this means they'll be shipping soon, too! 14. Congratulations to all the winners! I am so honored and humbled to have my set chosen as the best custom set for this year!!! There are so many amazing sets out there and this is exactly one of the reasons I love this hobby, this community, and CGC!!! Thank you so much to the CGC Awards selection committee...you made this collector so very happy!!!
  15. Thank you so much! You actually broke the news to me so I appreciate it very much for that, too! I'm beyond super happy and honored to have been chosen - CGC FOR LIFE!
  16. My bad - I quoted you talking about his set I'm guessing Either way, congrats to him! And you as well if you won one or multiple!
  17. Congratulations!!! Is yours a Doomsday ("Death of Superman") type set I'm guessing? Loved that run and it's very nostalgic for me - great news!
  18. Issue 3 came out today!!! What did everyone think about it??? Can't wait till the Rick 2000 story is collected in a comic book format (trust me...we all know that's coming ). For real I wish this was an ongoing because I'd be all about it! Here's my fav cover from this week...7 days till issue 4 drops!
  19. You know what they say...better late than never! You could have started with issue #193 and then gotten REALLY disappointed!
  20. Credit?!?!? You mean the blame for us getting an entire almost 200 issue series reprinted just for color and variant covers and extra printings and not a new series with original content instead?!?!?! *gases up truck and makes way for Texas... J/K my friend - proud of you for getting published again and this time in a key reprinted issue and also jealous of the 25+ variants you're reprinted in, too! Good luck hunting them all down! For real, though, that must be a record because you'll be in every reprint, too! You and Brian, that is! You'll be brand names before you know it!
  21. I got my pre-order of the exclusive Clementine cover in the CVL today!!! Anyone else get one or just me?
