  1. I've had many good dealings with Anthony over the years too, and I'm sure he's a nice guy, and he's many good dealings with me, and just like him I'm a nice guy too. I haven't met him, but he's the one who went out of his way to be silly here. It's tit-for tat in print, my friend.
  2. I nominate the USPS to the list. I received a book from Steve Lauterbach that was insured, had the insurance tag attached, was well packed. Unfortunately, looked like the box had been run over several times by a truck. It has been almost twelve months since I surrendered the book and made a claim. I have documented 1 fax, 13 phone calls, and 3 trips to the PO to try to recover my measley $80. Truly pathetic, uncaring and irresponsible service from our esteemed postal service. They definitely make the list!
  3. You actually don't have to wait in line for the international packages. You are allowed to walk to the front and hand it to them (when they finish with their current customer). That would be for an envelope only, and technically, they are supposed to ask you the 3 stoopid questions too
  4. So, I take it from the last couple of pages of posts that . . . we are adding the USPS to the Probation List?
  5. Obviously with you selling Preacher #20 for $30 or Rogue #1 for $30, someone is definitely in need of meds. I'll tell you what, take a big on them, call them 10.0 and they can be tomato boxers. Make sure only to pick the ones with the biggest miscuts Dear little man, Don't get me started on the Intentionally-Defaced, Over-Priced, Printed Yesterday, Encased in Plastic Krap that you pawn off to the "collecting community" as somehow interesting or worthwhile. Just go back to backwoods hole in the ground you call home and frick the cat while your at it your friend and admirer,
  6. Much ado about nothing as usual. Next time keep your negative comments to yourself and you won't look the fool! You're the only one who has a bug up his azz - did you forget to take your meds?
  7. Do you? You think hiding behind graemlins lets you say whatever you want without repercussions. Maybe over 50 OO collectors with nothing better to do who stored their comics in wax boxes should be banned for putting vegetables in their titles. What is your problem? I didn't on his thread. He titled his thread FREE BOOKS! I pointed out that it was less than accurate. Move along Sir Cranky. And since when do I hide behind anything?
  8. psycho babble - do you even read what you write? (don't insert graemlin here, because Jon will get all huffy-puffy.)
  9. Now, you are actually missing out. The pricing structure has changed to encourage BINs with best offers, and discourage auctions. If you were a seller, you'd be aware of that.
  10. Jon, Why does everything have to be directed at you? It's just a discussion, my friend. We don't want to ban the sales of books that you sell . . . bestest, d
  11. Yeah, that makes sense - disassemble the book to add a "photocopy" cover and reassemble using rusty staples PQ often has nothing to do with the condition of the cover, and yes, I agree with Kenny that the spine looks reinforced and color touched.
  12. Until the action in question is rectified or forgiven. This word bothers me for some reason . . .
  13. I think there should be a rule banning cranky pirates . . . btw, there are no "rules", only guidelines And what you may consider "crapping" others may consider thoughtful posting
  14. How about people like cd4ever who advertise "no good stuff" and "junk" and then deliver the goods as promised? It's definitely a two-way street . . . No way - it's one way with cd4ever  plus, I've never known him to post moderns or SS books...., Yes, agreed (thumbs u I meant overall.

  16. Hey Vince - tell us what you really think . . . What do you think about thread titles like, "FREE BOOKS!" -d first off, let me say this... I have been selling on these boards for years now and have a great group of people that buy from me and several new ones each month. I try to be witty or vague on purpose to seperate myself from the masses. Divad obviously has a problem with it as he can't stop letting me know and for some reason can't seem to read the 1st post in my sales thread. I was joking around with him thinking he was also joking, but this post shows me it really bothers him. Don't hate David Sorry, I am a fairly nice guy, but attempting to hide behind it being a joke isn't flying anymore. And since I am on a roll, let's be serious... JC complaining about sales thread titles? Give me a break... I'd say you're a fairly defensive guy, who reads a lot more into what wasn't said. What you do doesn't bother me at all, but I think you realize in retrospect that it was a stoopid title for a sales thread. I WAS joking, and don't me

  18. Since we'll never know, I guess it's safe to say you're both full of it . . .
