  1. Wow, so there's 9 different 300 piece scenes? That's more than I would have thought. Thanks!! edit: just noticed the box color variation on one of them, so at least 10 with variants.
  2. YouTube yourself putting one of these together. I promise to watch the first 5 hours of it...
  3. The price was still right, $30 for the big box that had 10 other old puzzles, a Man from U.N.C.L.E. card game, a single '60s Connery James Bond non-sports card and a few throwaways. It made me think about how puzzle restoration would be interesting work.
  4. Thanks, but nope. It was a pretty difficult puzzle to work, took longer than expected- about 6.5 hours. Does anybody know how many different 300 pc. Superman puzzles there were? I can't find another example of one with this illustration by searching eBay active and ended auctions or by using google images...
  5. My favorite purchase from today's auction. It was hidden in a big box of puzzles and games.
  6. I have the whole series but have only read the first dozen or so issues, so I wouldn't have known. Thanks to darkstar for the overview above!
  7. Ok, it may still be one buyer but it's still selling like crazy since I first noticed it on the 12th... several sold the 13th and today already. I've never watched Lucifer so don't what's going on with it.
  8. Maybe one person bought all 6 yesterday. I wonder if there is a sig opportunity coming up someone's prepping for...
  9. Maybe that's it. My search was for completed, not just sold, showing no sales for quite some time, then 6 sales all on one day (yesterday). May be an anomaly, will have to keep an eye on...
  10. Ed Piskor of Hip Hop Family Tree fame announced this project on his Facebook page yesterday. Definitely going to check it out, love his work on HHFT, and I know from his postings that he's always been a big X-Men fan.
  11. A friend posted this on Facebook. I think it was created just 2 days ago and there are similar concepts on his illustration page. The artist is Ryan Pancoast. The others are cool, but I think this one's great!
  12. Just going to keep one of each and eventually collect a set of stickers. Nice find on your cards & stickers, those all look great!
  13. Ugly Stickers! I still have 1000+ original boxed 1967 rubber uglies.
  14. My LCS opened a new location that I finally checked out after they've been open for several months. Every book they sell at this location is $1.00, they won't sell new releases. I picked up a couple dozen including this... Signed!
  15. Yep, that's correct. Thanks so much!
  16. Anyone have reader copies with Silly & Ziggy to help identify this issue? I did a pretty thorough internet search with no luck. It's likely a copy of Silly Seal & Ziggy Pig or Krazy Komics. TIA!
  17. That book has sold pretty decently for a while. As I posted in another thread I got three offers on one in an hour, but the money involved wasn't earth shattering. Looking at the sales data, I'm starting to wonder if this book just got an uptick for Christmas gift giving. If you have someone on your list who loves the guy and do an ebay search, the comic might seem like a fun gift by non-comics people.
  18. What's the story on the black price "10 cents" in the red circle on cover instead of white lettering? Found using google images... Was there a 2nd print? Canadian?
  19. I bought this from my LCS' .50 bin tonight solely to post in this fun thread.
