    I bought this original Wendy Pini artwork of Nightfall from 1981 at a local auction just a couple miles from my house today. Edit: I asked for help identifying the character, but found out with a little google research.

    I've definitely been considering that, but I think ultimately I'll be painting them in one by one using the comic as a guide. I also thought about using a friend's airbrush to "spit" some stars on it after masking off the main images.

    Yeah, there's a reprint of it where they changed it to blue also (Marvel Movie Showcase). Other color differences will be my gray Death Star, and the background will be blues possibly fading out to black- still pondering that... Edit: Oh, and the logo colors, obviously.

    In progress, an oil painting I've been working on for 4+ months so far. I just recently blocked in the Death Star. It's been taking a long time for the paint to dry in between sessions.

    I listen to The Paracast every week and Nick was just on it talking about the Men In Black on September 27th (just a couple weeks ago). Some of his stories seem to be rehashes from episodes a few years back, but there's also some I hadn't heard before. You can listen to it as a podcast by googling Paracast or go to GCN Live Network, find Paracast and go to archives.
