Oh, yeah I forgot about the 1880's version of Photoshop that allowed people to edit their glass negs.

AllPosters.com I did some messing around with the pics. The top pic is Ankur's photo reversed from negative to positive. The 2nd is Davenport's pic sized to Ankur's and made 40% transparent. The 3rd shows Davenport's pic at 100% transparency. Then it gets interesting: notice jsilverjanet's pic has an extra figure in the pic. Both pics have more image to the left, but Ankur's has more image to the right (notice the table far right, under the tree).

Looks pretty bad!

Thanks! Yeah, Stray Bullets is great and I'm pretty sure that it was the suggestion several posts back in this thread that got me to look into it.

Just finished reading Strangers In Paradise, finally. I really liked the last several issues. All single issues, although the earliest issues are reprints. I took a break midway to read other stuff (got on a Lapham kick with Stray Bullets, Murder Me Dead, Young Liars, etc.). I really appreciated Moore's consistently top notch artwork and would say he's a pretty fine story teller, too. Next up: Y The Last Man...

These will be much harder to dig out than those Adv Of Supermans that people already lost interest in Ditto... snagged one today at cover price at my LCS. Also found a copy of Officer Downe #1 @ cover and a VG/F or slightly better copy of bronze Nova #1 for $1.50.

I just asked Kristoffer Silver (via email) if Greater Mercury Legion X-II #9 exists since it was listed on his old website but there was no active Paypal link for it to purchase. Here's what he said: There are a few comics that reached publication readiness and did not actually get printed. This particular issue does bear checking out in detail, but until I bring the contents (Comics and paperwork) of all three storage warehouses together and do a proper inventory, there is no way to be positive about what happened. Of course, once that is done, all info will be available on the new website. ~K

That's what I'm reading now! lol I ended up starting to read SiP before finishing the Moore STs, but finally finished the ST run a couple days ago. I also started reading Gaiman's Sandman and am collecting the early Hellblazers before reading them. I'm wondering whether to continue reading Swamp Thing after #62 so any input would be appreciated... if it's worth reading, I'll have to seek out more issues. Swamp Thing Vol. 3 & 4 looked good so I started to buy them and am missing 1 or 2 issues from each series. The plan is to eventually buy the current series and Justice League Dark in bulk to read down the road... But back on topic, I'm enjoying reading SiP, almost done with Vol. 2 & ready for Vol. 3.

Another one from Team Suicide Squad to keep an eye on lately is Secret Origins #14. Looking at the past visible sales, they are all over the map from 0 bids on .99 auctions... but recent sales are strong- one with visible light cover damage for over $50. I just found 2 copies tonight at my LCS.

OK y'all talked me into it... I had a disjointed run of Vol. 2, so I've filled in the gaps and now have reading copies of all of Vol. 1 & 2 and most of Vol. 3 all floppies, so I can start reading the story soon... probably after I finish the Moore run of Swamp Thing which I'm nearly done with.
