It's remarkable how much that well done Netflix show has raised the profile of the character. Thank goodness the stink of that Ben Affleck iteration is finally gone and the character has been done some onscreen justice. -J.

They're used to hardcore fans being dissatisfied with everything. Doesn't matter what he looks like, it matters how he acts. Ledger was good because he played it well and the writing on his scenes was stellar. Here's a thread posted here back when the first pic of Ledger as the Joker was released--mostly people pooped on it. I personally think they floated the image to test public reaction, got put on blast, and then backtracked and decided to go back to the drawing board. Probably a smart move. But I also fear the "Damage" may already have been done. -J.

This is my old copy that I bought in 1991 from John Verzyl. For those of you who know the collection, this is the Daniel Erwine copy. The 2 biggest defects on the book is the chip out of the spine & someone (before I owned it) started to erase Daniel Erwine's name from the bottom of the 1st page. They put a small hole in the paper. The book has no Marvel chips or tears at all, a real beauty as a 7.5! It looks like an 8.0 all day long. Has the gray background become yellowish? Surely, that is the scan. -J.

Yeah, I wanted the 5.5 but I didn't want the cream pages and the 6.0 was getting out of my price range but was tempting. I settled on the 5.0 with OW from Joey instead. Looks good next to my AF 15. Wait you care about page quality :O Yeah I do, Can't remember how many times I've heard "oh, it has cream pages, I'll pass" when I'm trying to sell something over the years. That's when you move on to the next person in the infinite pool of potential buyers of big keys. -J.

Yeah, had a debate a few pages on if it would be over or under $65k Book looks great, but the colors are ok. Has that yellowish tint to it which I am not a fan of. If I were to buy a high graded copy, the colors better be bold and vibrant I get the feeling that's just the scanner. -J.
