  1. Damn... I don't think I have either of those but who knows. I've got a whole basket full of miscellaneous plastic toy parts that I need to sort thru still. Not to mention that I need to find the shell of that snow cat still. I have the back tracks & the rear hatch & whatnot but wanna put it back together
  2. Yeah. There's a snow cat rear hatch & missile pod cover thing. Ther night raven pod goes with the night Raven I just sold. The searchlight goes with the Demon that I found yesterday. The roomie snapped it off while helping me carry things because she's a little careless & doesn't understand what happens to 30 year old plastic. And I thought that was Lando but wasn't 100% sure. Thanks for the heads up. Did he have a shoulder cape thing too? Cause if so, that's in the box but I couldn't tell if it fit or not.
  3. And the rest of what I brought home today from the flea market of my childhood basement: Because I needed a buttload of dinosaur toys at my house for some reason. And a lot of hot wheels... There was also another massive box of Legos that I brought home to go with the massive box I brought home a few months ago.
  4. If you're interested, shoot me a message & we can work something out. I think it's the only Transformer I ever owned. Was never huge into the toys (but did love the cartoon)
  5. Well, I have a whole nerd room already just for my comics & Art & everything but I was gonna need a whole wall-length table just to set everything up. I lined the floor of almost the whole perimeter of the room while I was putting everything back together to check for completeness. That's when I realized how much space it really was.
  6. Another pull out of the flea market of my childhood basement this afternoon. And I sold the Joe's I pulled out a few weeks back.
  7. Sold that GI Joe lot this morning. Complete. Obviously could have sold for more if I parted it out, but just kinda needed the space back.
  8. Plastic happiness, very cool!!! Is the Defiant complete? Sorry I never replied to this... Yeah, the Defiant is about 99% complete. Both figures & cards. 2 broken tabs. 1 that held on one of the laser cannons but could be fixed by plastic welding literally any similarly shaped piece of plastic in that place. And where one of the hinges on the cockpit lid of the upper shuttle connects. Other than that, totally complete.
  9. Apparently, I'm doing it wrong & backwards then. So you're the one that people are always asking about! "Who's buying at the inflated prices?" *looks in empty wallet* yeah, I guess I am.
  10. I wasn't big on the series in the beginning, but I liked how they
  11. Looks like apparently it's going to suffer a little bit of Fan4-stick-itis. Except backwards? Like the lighter bits that the execs forced into the film & the reshoot stuff made the film better, but as a result, made it really disjointed & a bit of a mess when it comes to the tone? At least that's what the article for io9 this morning said. Seems like it could have been an ok, if dour film if Ayer's original cut was used, or a fun film if it was all done like the reshoot stuff & the lighter stuff from the original -script, but mashing them together kinda made it into a bit of a mess? Kinda really disappointed if that's the case. But it's also maybe a good example of being able to see the shift from the Snyder Murderverse to what we're hopefully gonna get more of in WW and Justice League going forward.
  12. Finally got shipping notification that my Betty & Veronica shipped.
  13. My only real concerns is the seemingly universal comments about jarring tonal shifts. Combined that with the supposedly extensive re-shoots, and it's probably not that surprising that there's a lot of tonal shifts that could be pretty jarring, if they changed or added/subtracted things in editing to get a different "vibe" for the movie, as a whole.
  14. That vanity fair article seemed bad but I also am taking that one with a grain of salt after the author pretty much used 2 paragraphs in the middle to shove their thinly veiled gun control agenda into the discussion on the movie. I'm wondering how much of a shadow that obviously major objection that they had cast over their opinion of the rest of the movie.
  15. Star Wars is a great classic story that's still quite good outside of Sci-Fi. In fact that movie was made; its called The Hidden Fortress. Stranger Things uses nostalgia as a gimmick; not something that adds to the story. The entire story could be set in 2012 with a modern soundtrack and nothing would change other than I suspect people wouldn't like it... If you change the era, you change the story a LOT. Between the MASSIVE amount of surveillance & technology advancements as well as the overall massive difference between peoples trust/distrust of government, the story is VERY VERY different. If that story is done in 2012, those kids whip out their phones (because even middle schoolers have phones these days), make a vine or youtube video of 11 doing crazy stuff, and tweet the bejeezus out of it. And it goes viral in 20 minutes. Instant different story. And those same kids are Facebook Live-ing their escape from the shadowy power-plant-slash-government-agents. And the mom is going all Paranormal Activity with video cameras EVERYWHERE in her house. And I guarantee that nerdy kid's dad isn't all "well, this is the government, they're here to help and protect us from the commies" when the shadowy-power-plant-government-agent-with-almost-no-name is trying to convince them to turn their kid over to him. I guarantee they're screaming to the high heavens about how the CIA is trying to abduct their kid with the Patriot Act & they get a lot more suspicious. And all of that's assuming they don't all just get taken out with a drone instead
  16. Does he share his tacos? If so, it's like having a Mexican buffet next door, and that would build a lot of neighborly good will.
  17. I'm really excited for my Betty & Veronica variant. I don't even bother with Archie books, but that's just a great cover.
  18. If you're interested in parting with the X-Men 1 hologram, I'd take it off your hands.
  19. Yeah, I just don't even have space for this stuff though. Probably gonna try to start selling it off.
  20. So I have sorta finished picking up all my GI Joe's from the flea market of my parents basement.... I didn't realize exactly how much I had until now & I'm pretty sure there's at least 1-2 more boxes of them somewhere. I also spent a number of hours putting things back together to make sure everything is at least 90% complete. It's nothing special but it's a pretty sizable amount IMO. All old 80's & early 90's if I remember correctly. I'll do you all a favor and spoiler tag the 19 pictures here:

  22. Lang was the only redeeming aspect of the "Why don't you just show us the freaking dinosaurs we all tuned in to watch? Nobody cares about this stupid family & their stupid choices" show known as Terra Nova, a few years back.
  23. i agree 100%- the music and the random references sparked the nostalgia- but no children behave the way those kids do- "friends dont lie"-- ya right- when you are 10- all you do is lie! ***SPOILERS*** -the ending seemed to wrap-up with a nice bow on top- too convenient... The ending did, but the coda afterwards
  24. I think the ending was designed to leave just enough hints and open threads (but not full on cliffhangers) that there's the potential to either continue this story/town/era in a second season, or to leave it as stand alone (and let peoples minds wander about the loose threads) (specifics in spoiler tag) My thinking on that last point
