  1. Am looking for a complete coverless Detective #22. Have loose Action #5 Superman story pages (not wraps) available as trade bait or PayPal ready to go.
  2. My list is based on cover composition and my likes, not on high Overstreet $ values. Had a very hard time deciding on my GA countdown #1 and 2 but Lou Fine wins over detailed Frazetta!
  3. Yes, GA Spectre and Schombourg made it onto my GA countdown # 3, 4:
  4. I have few slabbed books so continuing with my raw GA countdown # 5 (Joker movie hype), # 6 (first Daffy Duck, early Porky Pig), # 7 (Crimson Avengers seems under priced in Guide):
  5. So sorry to offend thine eyes with my low grade countdown of GA # 8, 9, 10:
  6. Got Avengers #48 in a trade a scant 2 weeks ago for $25 from a large local dealer. Good timing for me:
  7. My Eldon copy and binder hole 'pedigrees' of Planet #14, 15:
  8. Hotel booked. Is the Comic Swap on Sat. afternoon and Friday meet n greet offsite from the Westin South Coast Plaza?
  9. I only kept my thrashed copy of Marvel Mystery #2 for reading pleasure.
  10. Yes, I seem to recall Avengers #47 has 3 pages with Dane Whitman but he does not dawn the Black Knight costume until #48(?).
  11. Time to get your DC Naomi #1's signed. Last week in Kelowna, Art Suydam was signing Image Firsts 'Walking Dead' #1 reprint, and selling them at this booth for $19 since he is known as the Zombie artist.
  12. I would agree that Richie Rich was HUGE circa 1981 when he had appearances in 32 Harvey Comics and digests over 2 months plus a USA TV cartoon. That is more than John Byrne X-men or Amaz Spider-man titles in 1981.
  13. Watched first 2 episodes so far. Bit violent like 'The Boys' comic. Enjoying Karl Urban's (Star Trek reboot as Bones, (Judge) Dredd movie) acting and accent as Billy Butcher.
  14. Bags were probably from Safeway food chain. I'll take the Action #1 and Detective #27 in the lower left corner, and you may have the stacks of BLBs, as I like to share.
  15. With the younger generation of BA collectors, Tomb of Dracula #10 is the next Hulk #181 and must be worth two (2) x Batman #1 Cgc 1.5 that closed at about $36k.
  16. Vancouver Comic and Toy Show on Sunday November 3, 2019 at Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) Forum Building at 2901 East Hastings Street (at Renfrew St. corner), Vancouver, BC, Canada. 225 x 8 foot vendor's and independent press tables sold out. Over 22,000 square feet of pop culture fun at this comic and toy-centric convention. Top door prizes are two (2) $100 gift certificates to be used for comics and/or toys at the show. ATM bank machines and food trucks provided at the show. Street parking is FREE. Admission for this colossal show is $12. Updates and pics of their previous exciting shows may be found at Vancouver Comic Show after Hallowe'en A wait list has been set up if you wish to vend. Hope to see you all there with your want lists.
  17. No but Moon Knight could be Marvel's answer to Batwoman or Gotham on tv.
  18. All I know is Action #23 has a 'preview' ad for Superman #4 with Luthor on cover:
  19. Above average Shelly art on 'Clip Carson' from early Action Comics #23:
  20. Shelly Moldoff drew some incredible back up stories in Action Comics. These are from Action #23: "Black Pirate."
  21. The hours for both Sat. and Sun. are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday has cosplay contest from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Let your spouse or partner enjoy the wineries in West Kelowna while you dig through long boxes at Kelowna Expo:
