  1. Thats how to build a collection over time !!! and a really nice one at that !!!
  2. Yeah am aware that the cut off point 1955-56 could possible cause one to miss an issue if it listed incorrectly in the wrong era, for example the early Brave and the Bold issues from 1955 will most likely be listed in SA on eBay. so yeah an eBay search should be issue # specific
  3. The age i go by is how they are listed on eBay GA 1938-55 SA 1956-69, luckily i am not interested in anything before or after that if i were to search a different way or years i would likely miss out
  4. CSS #22 reprint is in nice shape but the other reprint is a pretty ragged
  5. and the worst thing about places that sell way over priced comics (like the FF75 for $75.00) is that if you tried to sell them the same or similar issue they would offer you a dollar for it
  6. i never heard of or ever saw a, DC Everything happens to Harvey comic
  7. as far as Marvels Greatest, Marvel Tales ect.. there probably is not much demand for a graded reprints ?
  8. Its an awesome cover and might still be worth getting CGC graded ( if you are inclined to get comics graded) because the holder will keep it safe and present really well ! , it might get a 0.5 incomplete with brittle pages,...
  9. Great comics! i am just now appreciating how incredibly Lou Fine could draw muscular humans
  10. I'm trying to get rid of "stuff" but i keep buying more too !! eBay has been such a wonderful game changer for all the collector minded people among us !!
  11. I think many of the coin dealers may have diversified and moved into selling comics- much more lucrative !!!
  12. One of my favorite, bucket list coins, the rare and famous: 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter (mintage 52,000 surviving mintage with a readable four digit date 10%) It is actually looking Quite affordable compared to many key first appearance silver age comics these days...
  13. It seems as if most all established collectibles are seeing a big resurgence
  14. i swear that 90% of subscription crease books come back exactly a 4.0 !!
  15. Good luck with the grading it looks great !! could conceivably come back with a grade anywhere from CGC 4.0 to 6.0 .... oh the suspense !!
  16. Great collectors grade and looks to be be a 5.5
  17. All these Baker TAR's are awesome!
  18. It can be very annoying trying to sell on eBay,. it seems they try by default to put you into positions advantageous to eBay themselves, they default you into auctions over buy it now , they try and make you by default to the most expensive way to ship .they default you into best offer, they default you into global shipping, you have to click off all of these defaults unless you are a selling pro and most sellers are not. a good chance the decimal was put in the wrong place defaulting to 45.00 instead of 450.00 mistakes on eBay are not seller friendly i listed something recently that i started off with a low price because i thought it was an auction listing, but it was a buy it now and was bought within seconds, i honored the mistake because it was only a 25.00 item but if it would have been a couple hundred dollar error then i am sure i would have had to cancelled and relisted it correctly.
  19. Wow i have never seen this comic before, looks like it has both Hitler and Goring , cool cover looks like a nice CGC 5.5
  20. I have no idea how my LCS stays in business ... their wall books are ridiculously high... for instance they have a Daredevil #24 in VG+ for $27.00 (with a 20% off sale on all wall books lol)
