  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fight-Comics-31-CGC-4-0-/301935480372?hash=item464cc1ce34:g:QgIAAOSwlfxXF7pm I just viewed the most gruesome war comics cover I have ever seen, way worse than War Fury #1, , even Mycomicshop.com will not show this cover on their website ,.. any of you fellow collectors have Fight Comics #31 ?
  2. I had actually just looked at your registry set a few days ago and had noticed the low point value for one of the issues and figured it was a PLOD and it was,... a measly 8 point registry book , it happens to us all once in awhile...
  3. Yes ! nice to see a obscure set on these boards instead of the same old same old !!! great set , sorry about that PLOD , its still ok though
  4. You can buy the: DC showcase presents our army at war issues 1-20 paperback book pretty cheap, stories are reprinted in B&W
  5. Cover has a sweet point of view from inside the furnace
  6. Start an IRA ( if they have those in Canada) every little bit helps when you are young, helps on taxes too
  7. Those Tommy Tomorrows are sweet 3rd string/garbage time DC'ers
  8. War Fury #2 is one of my all time favorites too !
  9. The drawing is ten times better than the output of the famous artist who copied Heath's works.
  10. This is the most friendly and drama free thread on the boards !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Hey Porcupine, I hope you have some Baker romance cover comics , while you have been in the hospital they have gone through the roof !!
  12. Those war comics you have on your want list will eventually pop up on eBay,, and we know you have pretty good patience !!!
  13. I'll never forget the photo of the dealer who had 500 copies of Marvel two in one #1 laid out on his tables, that dealer is probably still piece-mealing these out one at a time while we speak as not to flood the market, so much more so with dealers and their NM98
  14. Yes this is Deadpool's first appearance. but we know cover art does count, Classic covers get CGC notations on the label and are more valuable. PCH has no first appearance keys but the most valuable are due to the cover art. It stands that truly bad cover art can be detrimental long term.
  15. It probably doesn't help that it may be one of the single ugliest/stupidest comic book covers ever seen.
  16. You was robbed ! that sketch looks to be a 9.9 !!
  17. Not that it matters, but nobody over 35 where i work has ever heard of Deadpool , I have barley heard of him myself and I collect comics. although just GA and early SA
  18. Too funny ! she is working in a circus side shows !!
  19. My apologies to Hepcat as I have just read that Silver does both register and then crack out his books I was unaware of this until reading his above thread.
  20. Beautiful copy and even more so when compared to the one that recently sold
  21. You don't need a separate pass word to explore the registry , just type in: CGC registry at the top of your computer and click on the registry option which will bring you to the main CGC page, from there click the registry tab and at the bottom it says "explore the registry" start out by searching under the letter S and see Silvers great Superboy set.
