  1. Generated in 14.239 seconds in which 14.225 seconds were spent on a total of 32 queries. Zlib compression enabled. Probably caused by greggy while he as searching the forums for coinee porn.
  2. Compare that soundtrack to this one. Not in the same solar system. I used to have this album as a 12 year old kid and listen to it over and over. It's magical.
  3. Wow, that is absolute garbage. And I'm generally pretty open minded when it comes to music.
  4. Sounds like Trank is a poser and just trying to fake it. Which is exactly why this movie has stinker written all over it.
  5. It's almost comical how militant they are about some things but other things slide on by like an 800lb gorilla on a skate board. It was probably a button humper. I have my own trolls who really get a kick out of trying to make my life difficult in order to give themselves some excitement. The jokes on them though. The book sold before the thread was locked.

  7. I meant it in the affirmative but I guess it didn't sound that way. Thank God I'm not a lawyer.
  8. It's been bog slow for me. I've had between 2 and 15 second delays all day. The boards seem pretty slow today as far as traffic goes (probably because of nice weather and people being outside) so I'm not convinced it's search traffic myself.
  9. You guys have done a terrific job with your shows. I haven't been but I hear good things about them. (thumbs u
  10. Well, I had my first pulled thread. A return policy must be stated with any time limits indicated. It is acceptable to say "No time limit" and/or "No returns" and/or have time limits that vary by reason for return e.g. "30 day return for any reason. No time limit returns for "not as described'". But time limits must be stated. I figured stating "Returns possible if not satisfied" would be enough. I guess not.
  11. Their other problem is that they have a sleazy business model. Let some local community set up a big show, then swoop in after all the hard work has been done and try and steal a big cut. While I'm friends with some of the people at Wizard and they are nice people in person I'm not overly ecstatic about how they go about putting on shows. There's something to be said for building a show slowly and steadily over time. Reed has been growing both NYC and C2E2 steadily and while C2E2 has it's struggles it seems to be doing better every year. It's too bad that they Wizard doesn't just focus on making each show a great show and doing fewer shows rather than just throwing darts and seeing what sticks, which is the perception that the general public seems to have. Those that follow shows closely anyway. Philadelphia used to be a spectacular show and I was there in May and it now looks like a Flea Market. Shame.
  12. That made me laugh. I think we agree that suspension of disbelief must be at max level. Dude, my idea was better than anything Marvel has come up with. And it works for vibranium as well. You heard it here first, folks. I'm trademarking this!
  13. It's very believable, though. The G.S.C.I.F. basically takes the force that any given atom within the field would experience and distributes that force among the space between each atom. That distribution of force among such a great area stabilizes the space between atoms with what the layman might consider a shock absorber, keeping all the atoms at an appropriate distance from each other so that they don't collide with each other and tissue damage is minimized. Anybody with even a high school science degree knows that pressure on a given area decreases when the size of the area is increased. By spreading the force across a greater area using G.S.C.I.F. technology, the person's localized tissue can experience much greater forces without trauma. I can't believe you guys missed this explanation in IM #2. Now can someone please explain to me how Ant Man controls his density???
  14. Shaky science that is never explained properly. It doesn't really bother me. They've never explained how Tony Stark's brains and organs haven't been liquified as a result of some of the punishment they have taken. That's easy. The suit contains a gyroscopic self containment inertia field that stabilizes everything inside, much like Vibranium absorbs shock. That doesn't explain what happens when his brain bounces off his skull during rapid deceleration - like when the Hulk caught him before he hit the ground at the end of AV1 Are you doubting the power of the G.S.C.I.F.

  16. Gorgeous ! It's a stunner. I wish I had the dough to sink into it at the time it 1st came to market.
  17. I think it used to be Dark Knight's before he sold his pre robins off. It was a 4.0 when he sold it and then it went 6.0 and now 5.0. Thanks!
  18. You'd think if Justice League Dark is greenlit to shoot in November, Warner Bros would keep an army of quality directors on speed dial. The film's core 'vision' would be baked into the screenplay, wouldn't it? Just bring in somebody known to deliver the goods. Get on with it. Besides, del Toro is going to be busy with Hellboy III after PR2. Yup. Pretty unbelievable that a project as big as this get's shuffled into anybody's second place. Pacific Rim was Del Toro's creation, right? If yes, then there are several millions of $$$$$ that would make the decision relatively easy for him. (thumbs u OK, that makes a bit more sense then. I didn't know it was his thing.
  19. Strangely enough our Imax 3D was also near empty. Went in to see Trainwreck and the theater was packed to the gills.
