  1. A couple more whities. And I gave in and got a book from the tailor.
  2. There are only 2 possible answers to that question ... yes or no. If the answer is yes, then a whole slew of other questions arise....and the words 'incompetent' and 'accountability' are used in those questions. If the answer is no, why not? @Jennifer F.
  3. That should be in Trivial Pursuit. (or Who Wants to be a Millionaire?)
  4. Fixed that for you. There are no 'problems' at CGC. Just ask anyone who works there.
  5. They'll discuss it in a meeting.
  6. Boy, I feel old. When I stopped buying new comics, we had Amazing and Spectacular. I'm thinking because it's issue 241 that it's been around awhile?
  7. Sometimes I wonder who's behind all these bs decisions that they make.
  8. I ain't sweatin it. I have very, very low expectations these days regarding CGC's capabilities. I have to keep reminding myself to not be in a hurry for what will more than likely be a very big letdown.
  9. I don't know how you did it, but kudos to you for sneaking in that 75 year old book.
  10. I just read this and got all excited. I quickly checked my status. Nope. Received 8/18/21 ... still SFG.
  11. +1 CGC decision maker - "How can we make more money?" CGC option giver - "We could make the FT turnaround times 1/10th of ST, but that'd be screwing over a lot of our customers." CGC decision maker - "To heck with those losers. If they don't pay for FT, they mean nothing to us."
  12. The posted TAT for Economy is 227 business days. I'm at 252. That's 5 weeks overdue.
  13. My 8/18/21 sub is still at SFG. BTW, this sub was delivered to CGC's facility on 6/18/21. That puts me at 252 business days.
  14. @Jennifer F. This might be what he's talking about. I get one of these invoices with every submission I get back. I believe you said, a few days ago, that CGC gets 30,000 to 40,000 submissions every week. Of that number, how many people, who don't know any better, end up paying twice for their submission? CGC might want to consider something else to include with people's submissions.
  15. My winnings from the auction that ended the 2nd week of May just shipped a couple of days ago.
  16. I don't understand. How could CGC say that was a manufacturing defect?
  17. And what makes it worse is the fact that this particular employee didn't even say to his boss, "Hey boss, I f'ed up." Have you ever wondered... all of these QC issues. Nobody noticed? It just seems like there's way too much of a cavalier attitude down there. Add that to the "don't say a word" way of doing things, and I really don't see a bright future for CGC.
  18. "Impressive that the graders remembered these specific books that did not have graders notes. " "We generally receive about 30-40 thousand submissions a week"
