Got up an hour early this morning (3:30AM) and did 2 submissions without a hitch.

For my 13th birthday (1975), my present from my sister was a bottle of Tahitian Treat, a can of Pork-n-Beans, and a Daredevil #1. I regret not waiting to eat/drink until after I read the comic.

The majority of the comics I buy off Ebay come via Media Mail.

I called and asked once if I could use more than one box for a submission ... I was told no.

Is this an official CGC policy (as in documented somewhere), or is it something you heard? I only ask because I read you should write WT or EX on the box (for those particular tiers), but I didn't know FT was also to be written.

Selling that Iron Man was kind of an afterthought. I was picking out a few books to sell at auction, and I saw that IM150 sitting in the box. I thought, "What the heck, maybe I'll get my money back". (I bought it off CL last year for $156. I think I even posted it in the "What's new.." thread.) Just before leaving for work on Thursday I checked the bids ... I couldn't understand what I was seeing. All day at work I was thinking that there must be some kind of mistake, so when I got home I immediately checked the bids again, imagine my surprise when I saw that it had gone up even further. I honestly have no idea what's going on, but I ain't complaining. Maybe there's a Saudi prince out there who had to have it.

Sometimes the Newsstand might be a little more valuable. Sometimes the Newsstand might be a lot more valuable. I'm not aware of a single instance where the Newsstand is less valuable.

Don't remove your book from the slab before shipping it. Let CGC do it...you'll keep the same grade - unless it gets abused during shipping.

Hmmm. Not really sure what he's talking about, but it seems weird that 2 books would have them (whatever they are) and the rest don't.

The conspiracy theorist in me wants to convince me that CGC is doing all this 'delivered/received' bs on purpose in order to not raise the TATs too much, but the TATs are already pretty high, so I'm sticking with 'incompetence'.

ComicLink question - Let's say I won some comics at auction. But I also want to buy some books off their Exchange. To save a little $, will I be able to pay for them both on one invoice? Is that an option that I'm not seeing, or do I have to wait until Monday and call them? Now let's say that I won some books at auction (same as last time), but this time, instead of buying some books outright on the Exchange, I want to make a few offers. How will that work? (my goal here is to combine all wins [auction & Exchange] to save on shipping)
