  1. Jennifer, You've been very helpful and extremely pleasant on these boards, but please do not feign ignorance on this issue. The original question did not concern a specific occurrence of this problem, but rather if CGC is going to publicly address this very common and concerning issue - that quite frankly has been going on for far too long. CGC's customers have concerns, they should address it ... the silence is deafening.
  2. I was kind of tired while watching it last night, so I can't be certain, but I could swear I heard Batman drop the f bomb.
  3. Are you guys doing anything to to fix/prevent/correct the fact that you're so far behind in 'receiving'? I'm not talking about the TATs, I'm strictly referring to the time between when our packages get delivered and when they get logged in.
  4. I'm thinking not much now. Thank you for finding that.
  5. My boss wants me to sell the comics he has, but I can't identify this. It's small ... about 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Anybody?
  6. There's a way to know if you're offer was seen by the seller? There's so many times that I wonder if my offer was seen yet, so I can start to look elsewhere if it isn't accepted. Sometimes I get too impatient.
  7. Please include 25 cents, along with a SASE, to receive our latest list. Ah, the good ole' days.
  8. That sounds cool! But I have a feeling it's like those stupid air pumps at the gas station...always 'out of order'.
  9. I got that before. It was for explicit material. It was a couple copies of 'The Dead' by Arrow (Gore edition). I thought, :Ok, no problem,: But then I checked the census. It had a few copies of it on there, which means they DO/DID grade them.
  10. Granted, it's been a few months since I submitted, but I could've sworn that they did away with 'verified'.
  11. Nothing yet. Haven't switched over. Haven't been told to switch over. Still buying and selling. No issues.
  12. You sell 5 figure books on Ebay? I'd be stressing more Roseanne's corset.
  13. Would it be acceptable to give the book it's actual grade in a blue label, but keep the notation "missing MVS" (or whatever)? That way, the book doesn't have any of this made-up grade nonsense, but still gives collector's that info. "The bottom line is that this is supposed to help people make better decisions before they buy, sell or trade a book." LD, it's nice that CGC is looking out for me, but for years now, I've been under the impression that CGC doesn't concern itself with the aftermarket. btw - can you tell that I have no idea how to do that thing where you put a @ in front of a name.
  14. A few years ago, I watched a bunch of shorts called Almost American. Funnier then all get out. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1868526/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_4
  15. Sometimes I'll buy something and the tracking never gets beyond "Label Created". The comic gets delivered a few days later, but the tracking never gets updated.
  16. It's CGC's grading criteria and they set the rules for their grading. IMO, however, there should be no such thing as a 'qualified' grade.
  17. This one has everything going for it: red cover, Doom, Ant-Man. high grade. Plus it's a C8.
  18. I must have better sight than you.
  19. Is it just me, or did CL do away with their search function? I guess you still have the option of using that tiny search function at the top of the page, but I preferred the other one. You know, old age/larger fonts.
  20. You know those 1092 & 1095 Priority boxes? You have to peel that strip of paper off the end to get at the glue? Every now & then, the seller will drop those strips of paper in the box before sealing it. After seeing the trash that atrocitius received, I'll no longer roll my eyes when pulling those strips of paper out of the box.
