  1. I'm sure there are hoardes of undiscovered NM 98's out there. There's also hoardes of fanboys that would be eager to buy them. I'm not sure that isn't the most heavily graded book in existence already. I would assume it's at least top 5.
  2. After taking another look, it does appear the WD 127 preview mimics part of the story around pages 6-8 of Outcast. Because of this, I'd agree WD 127 is the preview, and Outcast #1 is the 1st app.
  3. Man, I can't find digital copies of either book anywhere. Anyone feel like posting a scan of the panels of the WD preview from either book in the name of research? NVM. Found it. Both these issues preview the first 5 pages of WD 1. I believe WD 127 is an original, 3 page prologue different from what appears in Outcast #1. Does/should this make a difference?
  4. Quick question, gang. With the upcoming Outcast show this may merit some discussion. WD 127 came out 1 month before Outcast #1. It contains a 3 page intro where Kyle Barnes is fully pictured, called by his first name and at the end of the prologue the statement is made that the story continues in Outcast #1 next month. Outcast #1 is listed as the first appearance and I'm sure the character is explored in much greater detail. Any thoughts on this either way?
  5. Nice guy, pays fast, and easy to work with. One of the board's best.
  6. I bought two last night just in case . Im also on board with Battle Scars #1 and Batman/Superman #8.
  7. Explain to me why it is going to sky rocket? Just because the board hates Sony's depiction of the Spidey movies the movies are a mega hits world wide. I don't see where a Marvel/Disney movie is going to demand a spike. Better movies maybe but has'nt the train left the station on AF 15? Maybe if some HG copies are flushed out and sell way over #s. But I'd say AF 15 keeps on climbing steady switch or no switch. Now if you told me Spidey villians might be finally done right and those should be hot I'd agree with that. I think he was speaking (typing) with a hint of sarcasm. And I would agree with you. The blue chip Spidey Villains should get a little push. 3,14,50,300 in particular. Can't rule out 4,15 & 20 either. Mmmmmorbius You might be onto something.

  9. Hot book and a nice copy. I think it's a foregone conclusion people believe it's only a matter of time before we get Warlock in the Infinity Gauntlet movie arc.
  10. This gentleman knows his stuff. Upon further review, I will backtrack on the 71 until I can give it a good read.
  11. I'm a fan of this as well. Also might want to check out the Lego JLA DVD coming out tomorrow, gang. It looks like Darkseid is about to get a little push.
  12. Somebody really needs to search the trademark on the Teen Titans. I have a funny feeling therein lies the answer to the question I asked at the beginning of this thread. If the copyright references the 54, I will crawl back to the hole from whence I came, stack of 60's in hand. We all know that isn't going to be the case though. Even Yoddler, Shill City Duck. All the non-believers. Brave and the Bold 60 is the first appearance of the Teen Titans. There will be no doubt.
  13. GL 7, 16, 87 usually do alright. Everything else pretty much fetches a discount to OPG. At least that's been my experience.
  14. Correct. The splash page of 54 also refers to the story as a team up. No mention of the Teen Titans until 60. Intellectual property=1st appearance, at least for my money. I've continued to buy these on the cheap, but I also have a FN 54 I bought as part of a collection. When it is listed it will be properly referenced as the Teen Titans origin/prototype. A first appearance, as we have previously discussed, is a stretch.
  15. I cannot make a better argument than the one which lies between the covers, Good Sir.
  16. It's close. He appears on multiple panels on multiple pages. The panel I posted on the copper age comics thread shows his entire body. Is he referred to by name?
