  1. If there is a profit to be made, especially in collectibles, you can bet there is somebody always looking to scam a quick buck.
  2. I hate it. I especially hate it when I get to my LCS, and he has a cover pulled for me, but I realize I would have wanted the other cover, but then see that he is all out of the one I wanted. I can't keep up.
  3. I like runs, even though it probably cuts into my ability to hoard cash for a key. I like being a Marvel Historian so to speak, and being able to say...watch the movies and know the history of characters, or roughly when something happened in the comic history occurred, is fun for me. Granted it nets me zero cool points with my wife, but she already married me, so joke is on her.
  4. Loco Comics! Even non Spanish speaking Yanks knows Loco means CRAZY. And we like our Crazy!
  5. That value was more based on print run I think. The title was on it's last legs. I think this issue of TWD is a different story- doubt it's considered rare. just a bunch of flippers hoarding supply to create demand.
  6. I merely point out, if I am in close proximity from seller or same State, that shipping would probably be lower. Works.
  7. I know it's been beaten to death before, but put me on the list of people who HATE movie stars signing comic books of characters they portrayed. Especially heroes that have been around for decades and decades. The only exception I can think of, is if it was a variant of them in costume.
  8. Who in their right mind would have Henry Cavill sign an original Superman #1? oh wait.....
  9. Wander Wander Wander....run into crazy group and battle- Governor's Camp Wander Wander Wander....run into crazy group and battle- Cannibals Wander Wander Wander...run into crazy group and battle- Neegan I saw a pattern and got bored.
  10. I agree with this, but what is the cut off? $1 million? $100K? $10K? $100 bucks. How much is too much? It's a minefield.
  11. Agreed. Social changes, values, tastes for sure. Much like Baseball, which is seeing it's fan base creep up in age every year (the average age of the World Series watcher is now past 55 years old, and still trending upward....not good for MLB), Superman seems to be a bit of a dinosaur now. I like his current title, but most of the back issues I find in the dollar box (and I see a lot) are not worth reading. Not all, just most.
  12. I personally liked Byrne's Superman. I was watching the Justice League movie recently (first time), and Superman was actually more bad arse in that, than Batman. (Movie was pretty bad btw).
