  1. I'm hooked too, good 'happy' signals going on in the brain with comics and mags. Healthier than smoking, but also potentially a lot more expensive. Better on liver than booze. Won't comment on weed. Think it's 'endorphins' or some other brain chemical, but me likee. : D
  2. No problem. Just dont' have two ACTIVE ones running in the same sub-forum. Although it's apparently common for one seller, I wouldn't risk it.
  3. Drummers like for the band Spinal Tap used to die from spontaneous combustion. Maybe this is something like that?
  4. ^Great wrap on a tough issue.
  5. Ah, Gerber and Colan. And Brunner was no slouch. Oh, and nice amp!
  6. Good tell. Also re: the Marvel Omnis, I think many of the 1st prints have round prices [$125] while the 2nd prints priced at e.g. 124.99. But your way to spot them sounds easier, thanks.
  7. Nice books, very good prices. Plus, the members playing in PGM forum often undergrade too. But don't forget to add a "return policy" so they don't disappear your thread. Good luck.
  8. Yup. But if I ddn't use snipe, and came in early with my bid, and outbid you at $102.50, you might come back and reply with bid up to 105. Then I must increase. But if I "e-sniped" with 110 using 5-second buffer, I'll save the 'bidding war.' Also, sometimes other ebayers only notice an item, or become interested in an item because it has a bid on it - but if you didn't advertise your interest by showing your early bid, you can snipe against <zero bids> listing and win at original listing min bid. Sometimes the presence of other bid(s) helps nudge a borderline buyer into deciding the item is worth bidding on.
  9. Comicdonna handled some of it. Other advantages: want to bid on ten auctions ending at same time? Place your bids by electronic-sniping. want to place your bids, but be able to remove bids in case you change mind or find a better item, same ease of use - just delete your bid. In general, don't want to tip your hand early and get into bidding war? Place your bids via sniping software. Don't need to be online, for those that prefer to bid at last minute … etc.
  10. ^I still use same one Raze said. They no longer grandfather early joiners at zero charge for bids up to 25, so it's pretty much a 1 per cent convenience fee (not sure if it's capped). Don't recall ever having problem with it making bids on time unless ebay was down at the moment.
  11. Tomahawk 126 deslabbed CGC 7.5 CROW pages $22. Neal Adams cover. Inferior Five 1 Deslabbed CGC 9.0 OW pages, $70. will take these M.
  12. Lizzie can single-handedly keep a thread entertaining, but what can a Lizard do when it's his own thread and there is no e.g. porcupine around for antics? Also don't let him know about your anti-saurian disposition. Your country needs you: Buy War Books!
  13. I quit even trying for that same reason. But addicted enough to still click into the thread on occasion every year in to see what's up? But my hair stopped thinning ! Laden or unladen?
  14. It's a dull crowd, needs more Lizards, but he can't play entertainer he's apparently busy with other stuff.
  15. Ok, I'll take it, love this book, think this will be #3 now.
  16. I edited a minute ago to take the FF 74, but I'll concede it to you, it was just a gratuitous buy, already have one.
