  1. CGC like PSA in sportscards, are too big to fail. Those companies bring in the most $$ compared to their competitors when items are sold.
  2. Yeah these dealers dont wanna submit their books but still want the graded price
  3. I should be like all the dealers and start charging the GPA based on what I think it'll grade at for raw books, If I think it's a 9.2 and GPA says it sells for $850. That's the price it'll be. Even though I can't make that guarantee and the buyer ends up with an 8.5
  4. A lot of dealers wanted slabbed prices for raw books, there's no guarantee that if slabbed, the customer is getting the assigned grade the seller sells it to you as. I've seen sellers who want double GPA for raw books and don't even put grades on them, That's ok though, they can take it back home with them If sellers want graded prices for stuff, then they should get it graded.
  5. Unfortunately Marvel doesn't make these kinds of covers anymore, they just make covers with a good shot of the character cause that's what sells now
  6. it can't be pressed out and those types of creases occur after it's been printed, so no, a white line won't appear
  7. Came today, Have a better scan now
  8. I don't hold sellers to that kind of expectation, If I see a book graded and advertised as a 9.4, I fully expect the book to be a 9.0 when I get it.
  9. It's the fold that's off, then the top, bottom and sides are trimmed. You guys are using the word registration wrong since it has nothing to do with the fold.
  10. Picked this up yesterday, Been wanting this for a few years now. Once I saw it I had to get it. I'll post a better scan later
  11. Registration doesn't mean an off centered wrap, it means if the 4 colors are aligned or not. Picture for reference, left side is out of register, right side is in register
  12. I also can't see why it's a 9.6, Modern graders have been brutal
  13. Just got in about 4 or 5 slabs that don't have the page quality noted on the label....I blame Inspector #5
  14. the turnaround time would be an estimated 109 business days for pressing, and an additional 20 business days for modern grading
  15. Dry cleaning is mainly for dirt and pencil marks, you can't remove stains without chemicals if you want a blue label
  16. The T has a slight curve on the real one, the Spawn 8 signature has the T straight across, looks like both signatures on the Spawn 8 looks fake
