  1. I have a complete Bolland WW set in 9.8 that can be seen here https://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=2586
  2. AF 15 will be fine, No reason to panic sell
  3. If you plan on driving, make sure you don't hit the button that'll make the car alarm go off
  4. Can someone recommend me a quality scanner that I don't have to use Vuescan for?
  5. Yeah, I just got that scanner. Here are the terrible results
  6. They didn't have automatic ink levelers back then, either the ink fountain ran dry, could be a roller setting or the ink ball stopped turning
  7. My flatbed was much better and I could adjust the color. Now I gotta order a new scanner and I've got slabs coming back and can't sell them till the new one shows up. I miss the days of being able to walk into a store and finding what you need and coming home with it. Now it's "Oh, that's on our website"
  8. No black ink, they get out the door at times at the printing plant and shipped out
  9. I just got the CZUR scanner, it sucks and I already am sending it back. My HP 8250 was much better but since renewing Vuescan, the program kept crashing over and over, finally ordered the CUR but the scans are terrible and the adjustments are a pain to deal with. Have to find another scanner that actually works.
  10. Thanks, your copies look great, love the #5. I'd never seen these before and just so happen to find the 5
  11. You have to look into the future not just the "right now market price" Fast forward 10 years "Oh, I could have bought a 1.8 Hulk 1 for 18K" Yeah we all have stories like that, learn from your mistakes. 1st appearance of a major marvel character from 1962...it's a no brainer
  12. I got all these in 9.8 a few years ago, have a complete 0, 63-100 set, covers are great
  13. Bought this for a $1000 raw, Pressed it and sent it in, this is what I got back, really excited about it.
  14. What's frustrating is that no matter how fair and in line with current market prices you are, whatever price you post, someone always asks for half of what your price is, a lot of guys at shows won't buy a slab unless it's 20-30% off FMV. I don't know what the obsession is with getting a deal, (if you wanna flip it, just be honest) if it's something I want, and I feel comfortable with that price, I'll pay it. If the book is a $1050 and the dealer won't go any lower, I'm not going to fight and walk away over $50
