  1. OK, it was either this or Amazing Fantasy #15 I love the discreet #4 And as you can see, this is rare 'missing orange in the R's hole' variant! Think about it....
  2. Jeptha Judge of Israel, would you look at this! How many bloody years have we been looking for this? I was ruffling through the boxes at the fair today, went past it, thought "hang on", went back and BOOM! as Mr T would say. Brilliant. Now, it's a 1 stamp of course, which means it was a 'latecomer'. An 8 or 9 would've been even more beautiful but you can't have everything can you. So we now know that it was distributed in the UK back in the day. I wonder what lucky sod unwittingly bought it. It might be the only one! Here is the updated 'earliest known' DC table - still the same 3 titles with no stamped issues: Superman is now complete - no missing stamped issues in the first four T&P cycles: And here is where she sits on the One Show: Not a bad shipment, was it. Marvellous
  3. Every time I see Batman v Superman now I'm going to think of Betamax Von Sydow
  4. How about "The owner of this video inexplicably failed to acknowledge Betamax Von Sydow"?
  5. So sorry to hear that news. My thoughts are with you and yours this evening Mike
  6. This is such an Andruey pose / look, isn't it: That's an actual adjective you know, 'Andruey'.
  7. I've added an update to the journal summary page showing @JonnyT2008's find here: Keep looking Jonny - and you @FlyingDonut - only two more to find now. Probably!
  8. It's easily done with the quoting format here. It didn't help that the owner's board name was 35c - made it look like part of my book commentary
  9. Here we go: Two more Cables and we're at six issues per title. It's taken nearly three years for Cable #74 to show as a $2.29, so it's possible.... I'll update the journal when I get home tonight
  10. I didn't buy them Stephen - 35c did. I was just commenting on the photos he posted. I can't remember the last time I bought in bulk like that as it goes. I did have a go at an auction lot in person the other year. That was cool going through them, loads of books up my alley. I didn't win, but the ones I really wanted found me eventually, funnily enough.
  11. This is mine though. A fine example of the medium, expertly rendered: Admit it. You're all jealous
  12. This isn't my copy - I spotted it online - but there's an extraordinary amount of free space on this cover: Do you think the artist was working on the assumption there would be some blurb?
  13. Some nice stamp and stickered cents copies in there, 35c, as well as the UKPVs. A fun lot to sift through indeed for the budding UK distribution fan
  14. Cor! Hurry up with the pictures, Jonny. My rule is that it doesn't exist until I've seen it! Well done on the find, which the pattern has always indicated should exist - I'll update the chart / journal summary page when we see the book. A $2.29 Cable #74 completes the Dec-99 cover date block: Jan-00 is also complete - a 2 month solid block - so it raises the possibility that the 'missing' Nov / Oct Cable books may also one day appear. Keep looking!
  15. Anyway, where was I.... Son of Silveracre has recently put up a run from Pat M's original owner collection. You know, Pat M. Her. Although it could be a him too, I suppose. Fellers like romance and girls who muck about too. There's an interesting variety of UK stamps in evidence: I snaffled a few others for the Charlton files. This Little Lulu below has what I believe to believe one of Arnold's stamps (Miller) - it matches a Little Lotta I have on the right: So I have an original Pat Pedigree book! The pedigree application is in the pipeline - it's Pat Pending Anyroad, that's cool, isn't it. Pat clearly liked the little ones Will CGC fail to recognise it, do you think, as a Pedigree? Would Lotta pass up a bacon butty mountain? Yeou deecide (Big Brother voiceover bloke)
  16. I'm generally rubbish at maths, but wouldn't that be 0.999999999999999999998?
  17. Fat diamonds Nay. Something is telling me some of them appeared in a magazine, but it won't come to me. Robot will likely know. But no 'UKPVs' for SSS, or identifiable UK distribution copies, alas.
