  1. We've discussed this during previous HA auction threads, and earlier in this very thread, but the sheer number of lots that went for multiples of 4x, 5x, 6x and beyond once live bidding started, has never been so prevalent. This statement is particularly true for the Sunday auction...stuff that sat around $1.5K - $4K took off like crazy! Bidding behaviour has changed so much in such a short time that its almost impossible to predict what a piece will go for these days.
  2. Subby hype cause he’s joining the MCU per the Black Panther 2 movie trailer?
  3. Also, with so many pieces selling for $10K+ today, I think Morlock art is a huge misnomer. Going forward, Morlock art appears to be relegated to the Wednesday OA auctions
  4. Oops, I thought todays auction was already completed, but it’s still going strong
  5. Looks like Heritage has delivered another wildly successful auction. Congrats to all sellers and purchasers (except for those who outbid me 😉) I was serious about adding 11 lots to my collection this auction, and I thought I bid aggressively, but I ended up 0-11. I was the immediate underbidder on 8 lots, second underbidder on 2, and I was utterly smoked on one lot. oh well, more funds in my pockets for the next auction.
  6. Look at the Sienkiewicz pieces…all ridiculously low.
  7. The Morlock art at HA is tomorrow…lots of pieces still at $1K or less
  8. Miller Wolverine page went for $102K…I don’t think anyone saw that one coming!
  9. Everything you state is 100% true. Yet, every time these TOS 39 pages come up for sale, I can’t get past the Don Heck artwork so I don’t bid
  10. Bolland WW cover went for 99K. Thats a huge number and represents 4x the previous high for one of his WW covers
  11. Well, I just placed a bid on the Ditko ASM splash and immediately outbid! Congrats to the millionaire who wins this
  12. Question to the experts…if this page was Ditko pencils AND inks, would it cross the $100K threshold? If so, what would it go for?
  13. Best thing about this movie is Russell Crowe as Zeus. everything else was utter spoon.
  14. Latest result on clink is $4.25K for a 9.8 blue with white pages.
  15. It's a beautiful cover, and sure, if it was under the Dr Strange title it would have went for more, but it has quite a few condition issues. I think the condition notes per Clink kept several people (myself included) from bidding: Note: The art was produced on another board and then cut out and glued to this board. The bottom 1 1/2" of the support board was cut and taped back on with masking tape on the back. The trade dressing is production paste -up. Both of the TMs are affixed by a 1" piece of tape. The "Featuring" is affixed with a 3" long piece of tape. The date is also attached with a 1/2" piece of tape. The Marvel Comics Group has a 10" long piece of tape. The support board is missing a piece of the top left corner, as we;; as a 1/2" crease on the bottom right corner and a 5" crease on the top right corner.
  16. Its nice to finally see Jose's artwork prices reflect his talents. His artwork has been so good for so long, and criminally undervalued until the past two-three years.
