  1. I always thought Ronald McDonald Comics #4 had a very low print run, and Overstreet had questioned its existence by listing it in the Guide with a question mark. in fact, it wasn’t until the early days of CGC, when I submitted my copy, that Overstreet removed the question mark from the listing. By the way, CGC held onto my copy for 18 months, waiting for another copy to be submitted in order to verify that the book was legit. For holding onto my book for so long, CGC apologized for the delay and gave me 5 free slabs the next time I submitted books

  12. The Olivia Wonder Woman painting sold on HA for $66K, which we can use as a benchmark. Not sure if there are any private sales that exceed this amount.
  13. There’s been several Bolland WW covers sold on HA between 2018-2021, but none have sold for anywhere near the current high bid of this WW 63 cover, sure to be a classic cover soon. it’s currently at $37K. Any guesses if it will hit north of $60K ?
  14. Good question. The Modern Era has approached/passed (your mileage may vary) the 30 year mark so there’s a lot of artists that can be included in this thread. im very familiar with most of the artists mentioned whose work was published from 1990-2005, but I’m unfamiliar with most from 2006-present. I think this is a great thread to become familiar with some great new artists, and perhaps pick up a page or two of really nice OA. 👍🏻

  16. Regardless of location (although I would strongly favour a Manhattan venue), I would attend if it were expanded to a two-day show. with all of the hassles at airports (flight cancellations, delays, arriving 2-3 hrs before flight departure), it’s simply not worth the hassle to fly down for a one day show
  17. Whatchu talkin’ about, Ron? I always tune into the CGC OA boards to get the latest news about inflation, recession, and doomsday warnings. We all do, whether we like it or not
