    Just because there are two copies for sale on ebay at the same time doesn't mean the book is not that rare. As per a previous post, there are only 3 copies in the census.

    Not sure if I heard correctly, but when I was at Terrificon, a few artists were discussing the NY show and it sounded like they weren't going because now they have to fill out paperwork/submissions for a table? I could be wrong, but that's what it sounded like to me.

    Sold on HA for only $7.2K in Nov 2018. the cover recreations for 2-4 also sold in the same auction for $3.8-$4.5K each. also, the Batman 420 cover recreation went for $4K in Aug 2018!

    Based on sales results for a ‘like’ page that sold for 50K at auction or elsewhere publicly, it may reinforce the higher valuation in the buyer’s mind, and/or perhaps a bit of FOMO sets in for good effect. it happens more frequently than we think.

    Yes, I’ve had a discussion about those very topics you’ve mentioned (and more!) with Doug nearly 10 years ago. Given his responses and archaic rationale, I stopped consigning items to them and went all-in with HA. I’ve been very happy with my decision 👍🏻
