    Asides from the fact that many of those characters have forthcoming sequels, I think the speculation on their return is largely based on the events that occurred in the comic.

    Thanos is limping and the whole left side of his body is charred. According to James Gunn, Warlock won't appear until GotGv3, and even then that hasn't been 100% decided yet apparently.

    The Gauntlet allows him to wield the the power of the stones in unison. The stones are so powerful that they would destroy a mortal just by touching it (as seen in GotG). Thanos is likely strong enough to physically hold 2, maybe 3 stones without getting incinerated, but to wield all 6 without dying most likely requires a device (like the Gauntlet).

    My theory is that the dwarf that forged it built in an inherent flaw in the gauntlet.

    When a guy in a metal suit flies into space and singlehandedly destroys your army, you're gonna know about him. At least, that's my guess.

    Solo looks abysmal. No chance in hell that passes IW. Unless the film somehow turns out to be better than the trailer suggests, I'm guessing Solo will be lucky to pass $1B.

    I said this a few pages back but, "the villain is the hero of their story". And for me, that was made abundantly clear when the last credits rolled and it said "Thanos will return" (instead of the typical "The Avengers will return"). This movie could have just as easily been titled Thanos Rising.

    Did Starlin and/or Lim make an appearance anywhere? I'm guessing Lim no, but I could have sworn there was a series of tweets once where Starlin was like "i'm ready for my close up" and the Russo's responded "we're ready whenever you are."

    A story about a boy getting too old for his toys and how his toys will react when faced with abandonment or death? It seems like a compelling notion when you look back at your own childhood. I personally liked Toy Story 3 (not as much as the first 2), but that's neither here nor there since this is an IW thread.

    i'm not too familiar with the probation rules/guidelines, but once you received the PayPal refund on April 10th, wouldn't that have made you whole? I don't get this, as soon as you get your money back, he is no longer obligated to give you anything at that point since it is as though the transaction never occurred in the first place.

    Agreed that Winter Soldier and Civil War are the pinnacle of Marvel filmmaking. Saying Infinity War is bad compared to those two is like saying Toy Story 3 is the worst Toy Story. They're all knockout films from an individual perspective, but when compared against each other, there will always be a loser.

    There were quite a few kids in my theater. I can't say for certain how old they were, possibly 10? There's definitely some mild cussing in the film if that's any sort of reference.

    "The villain is the hero of their story" Thanos was written with a lot of depth and character. This isn't an Avengers movie...this is a Thanos movie.
