  1. IMO it shouldn't. Not that they care about my opinion...
  2. I haven't taken a stab at Daredevil. I'll take a look next Wednesday. I also haven't had a chance to grab (Immortal?) Hulk #1. Venom just doesn't interest me. Iron Man and Thor both being duds really bothers me. The Iron Man writing is so bad and the Thor artwork doesn't look good at all IMO. Those turned me off to giving ASM a chance for a whole month. ASM and X-Men have given me more hope to continue looking at Marvel titles, though.
  3. I think that most sellers are more level-headed than buyers. Everyone wants a deal, even if it means that the sale is priced at a fair number. There are crackhead sellers, though, that want $5k+ for Infinity Gauntlet #1 signed by Stan Lee when you can buy the entire 6-issue set, signed, for half of that from other stores...
  4. My mom recently went on a low-carb diet. I always wanna get pizza whenever I visit her lol. Broccoli is a strange one to like (outside of chicken alfredo and cheesy dishes). Good on you for that.
  5. I have to agree here... Sometimes I 'feel' like I'm "low-balling" a seller, but sometimes their asking price is absolutely ridiculous. Is their price 2X what they expect to actually get? I never know.
  6. Little-to-no re-watch value is more likely.
  7. Free/cheap shipping gives buyers a major woody. I'll be honest - it gives me a half-chub. I'll pay $20 w/free shipping before I pay $19 with $0.99 shipping on principle alone.
  8. I may end up collecting all of the 1st wave New 52 titles at some point. I might even collect every New 52 issue across all waves... That would be something...
  9. Something similar will be happening. As Kevin Feige said, when discussing A4, "there will be everything before, and everything after". I wish they could put an end to all heroic and villainous characters that have been seen through all 3 Phases, but guys like White Wolf, Spider-Man, and Black Panther will still be around for sure. Considering that Infinity heavily inspired both Infinity War and Endgame, my educated guess is that the Terrigen Mist will play a part in "creating" the X-Men. It's truly going to be interesting to see how Marvel Studios intends to keep audiences 'hooked' after Phase 3.
  10. Venom was so good that it only took 2 months until it hit Blu-ray/DVD...
  11. My LCS owner suggested it to me, but I still haven't started Season 4 of Gotham, so I don't have time for a new show yet.
  12. IMO a 3.0, and sadly, I don't think this one looks good. The colors are awful to me. There's gotta be a better low-grade copy out there for you, right?
  13. Unfortunately, prices aren't dropping universally... This one 6-comic set I have been watching actually raised their asking price 17% in the last 2 weeks (not signed by Stan Lee, either). I find that most prices on most things "rebound" after the New Year almost immediately. Not sure if this is the case regarding comic books.
  14. I see that the sarcastic inversion of called-out irony and hypocrisy escaped your clutches..
  15. No offense to anyone who does donate via PayPal, but that sounds very boring. Having all-comic-related prizes would be very cool (like the gift exchange). "Not my style." "And you're all about style..."
