  1. I didn't know that collecting sealed vinyl is a thing... Collecting vinyl in and of itself is cool. Sealed vinyl..? Eh... Graded vinyl? Don't get me started...
  2. ASM = Amazing Spider-Man, right..? With poor lighting, I'm guessing it's a 3.0.
  3. Do the other losers even have a census? I don't think print runs are disclosed by manufacturers, so asking for a total of "what's out there" is too tall a task.
  4. Says the guy with 5 posts prior to this one... Last I checked, people don't consume elements. This lack of scientific accuracy makes your attempted joke fall too flat to be considered humor.
  5. Seeing it on Wednesday. The CGI final battle in Wonder Woman really tainted the 2 hours of great storytelling that preceded it. Considering that this climax will probably occur underwater, I really have to convince myself to let it go if it plays out the same. Big difference is it was a 1-on-1 with Diana. If Aquaman involves armies of stuff in battle then it makes more sense. If it's a battle between Arthur and Orim or Manta, then I hope that's focused on a smaller scale.
  6. Irrelevant questions. Good to know that anyone who doesn't agree with your opinion on anything is "peeing on it". I've tried to agree to disagree, but the defenders of this hobby don't seem interested in unemotional discussion. Disappointing. Enjoy the holidays.
  7. Quoting before you edit and add paragraphs to make it look like an informal response was submitted. I'm not your "bro".
  8. So... Buying something that you want for 95% off isn't shrewd buying..? Did you read this before submitting..?
  9. Wrong. I don't buy things that I don't want. There are no guarantees to resale. This is a fundamentally flawed opinion of yours. Truth hurts. You seem to be threatened by the fact that you're collecting graded gaming packages. Not sure why you're making assumptions about other people that have no foundation. It's kinda childish.
  10. That's hilariously ironic and objectively incorrect. Since I didn't buy these for resale, your "you're making" comment is entirely irrelevant. The outlook isn't as an investment. I bought them because it's expensive to own these sealed products of games that I love. Regardless of the irrelevant tangent you're branching out into - all of the previously mentioned criticisms of grading a package stand. Being 99th percentile is great company. I'm not going to spend my money on that I don't care about. The only guarantees in life are death and taxes. There's no guarantee that, even if I tried to sell these, that they get sold. That's why the adage around here about buying comics you love vs buying them for an investment makes the most sense. Edit: I suggest that some people, not the poster that I'm responding to in particular, take emotions out of this conversation. I don't see any anger being harbored here. Kinda shows that some people are actually 'speaking' objectively while others are taking this to heart. Truth hurts...
  11. Completing my Spawn Origins TPB collection by ordering Volumes 1-12 with this coupon. Awesome! 15% off is great!
  12. Why would I spend $50 on something that I don't want..? It takes me <20 minutes to earn $10. When all else fails - resort to personal attacks rather than the subject, right? I couldn't care less if you "take me seriously". You obviously aren't taking logic and objectivity seriously on this thread. I suppose this discussion is over between us.
  13. I stood in line for 70 minutes at the post office yesterday afternoon...
  14. I spent $20 on 2 games that typically cost $1,000+ combined on the aftermarket. You're curious about, what..? I call it shrewd buying. Have you heard the phrase, "don't look a gift horse in the mouth"? Edit: I would never consider spending more than $10-20 on these. Call it a potential investment if I ever need the cash for some unforeseen circumstance.
  15. You have greatly contributed to my confusion on whether or not I will include a card...
  16. I hope I used enough bubble wrap to keep the gift safe. Is there a "mainstream" thought on greeting cards? Was thinking about signing and sending one with the gift. Not sure if that is common or rare.
  17. I think I won because he didn't react via GIF to my guess.
