  1. You nailed it! Just relisted for 7400. This thing is becoming a freaking joke! I think it's safe to assume any ebayer with very low feedback selling a high grade 181 is full of s**t!
  2. Interesting that #80 is one of the least graded. Took me forever to find mine especially with a decent wrap. That's one of those horribly wrapped issues. Wonder why #64 was graded so much? Could it be that memorable cover? I'll guess #121 or #122 is the most graded in #101-200
  3. Wow the creative talent in that room! He's responsible for so many classic covers! Never really made a connection between MJ & Margaret? Maybe the curves?
  4. Yes, "Venom first host" is a miniseries that goes into the pre Eddie origin of the symbiote. First issue just came out. There are a few new characters, the original symbiote host appears at the beginning of issue #1. There's an altercation between 2 other new characters on the last page. They're names are not mentioned since it ends abruptly in a "to be continued". I don't think this has anything to do with the movie but who the hell knows??? I'll give it a chance but it'll take some interesting creativity for them to somehow integrate PP into this setting they seem to have going here. At least they made Venom look decent but in general non MCU comic movies suck...
  5. No feedback no other items for sale...sigh...
  6. Yeah If I'm not mistaken Kane drew most of the "Gwen Stacy clone" saga covers. I think Wein was in there too
  7. Sometimes eBay offers top performing sellers a discount on seller fees. I recently received a promotion that capped my seller fee at 20 dollars if my item sold for at least 200 dollars. The promotion was only active for 30 days though. That could have been the case with the seller you're referring to
  8. That would be a major defect so presumably it would. Btw, there's another section on the boards called "comic book grading & restoration issues" under comics general where this question would fit better Edit: not under comics general but "CGC forums"
  9. #182 9.8 white for 2500. Highest ever. This listing didn't last very long. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-182-CGC-9-8-White-Pages-Wolverine-cameo-180-181-trilogy-/302871868495
  10. I can post them but you wouldn't be able to see any defects. One is ASM #1 Jamal Campbell variant cover A the other is "Venom first host" #1 Bagley cover 1A. Both are dark covers just released. The spines look good no specs of dirt and all edges look flat. I've never submitted moderns so I don't know if pressing is advisable here?
  11. Try shining a flashlight on the side where the spine is. Shine it at an angle from the bottom corner of the spine and slowly move the light along the spine, preferably in a dark room. Usually works for me. Sometimes it'll help if you use a magnifying glass. I have a bunch of 9.6 & 9.8 the difference is usually a couple of very tiny hairline stress lines on the spine not visible by just looking at it
  12. I'm submitting a few new moderns that were just released this month. They look ok with no visible defects. Of course I'd want to give them the best shot at a 9.8, would pressing them help or possibly even hurt? They're both dark covers & one of them has extra pages but not quite a giant size. Just trying to determine if it's worth while. Thanks in advance for any responses
  13. It's fake! He'll relist it a few days from now. He's already sold a couple of others only to relist them shortly after. They're just trying to push up the value with fake auctions or BIN sales
  14. #347. Larsen and Emberlin. I prefer the way Bagley drew him in Lethal & Larsen in ASM 332 & 333. Here's another panel from that issue
  15. Yeah, O has used that phraseology a few times. With the coin former presents make it might not be a bad idea for him to pickup a few key slabs! Stan sent him an autographed Spider-man poster in '09 http://voices.washingtonpost.com/comic-riffs/2009/01/obama_the_superhero_stan_lee_e.html
  16. ~10,460 blue label 9.8 white on pedigree auction
  17. Curious what GSXM 1 are you referring to? If it's from Clink I wouldn't be able to find it so do you remember who's signature it had? Interestingly there's one being auctioned on pedigree for a surprisingly low price with not much time left. Although they have extended bidding if there's a last minute bid placed
  18. The last few are not classic or iconic, just favorites. I want them all...?
  19. Thats universally recognized I think. I'm more impressed by #s 57, 76, 89
  20. Aside from the obvious universally recognized TOS 48 is another I like
