I don't think that'll be likely. Just my guess but If they do decide to include Spidey it'll probably be in a part 3 or whatever Sony decides is the finale in this series. The next one will be about Harrelson imo. It'll be interesting to see how he and Hardy's characters interact. Two great actors! Can't wait!

For what so they can devise a new plan to Twitter troll the Venom sequel only to fail just as miserably?!

"Topping out at 180 million domestic"? "Logan this ain't"? Seriously ? Assuming you're right that A star is born outgrossed Venom on Thursday so that means Venom won't have legs? What about the rest of the week? Seems like we're just cherry picking here Im not entirely sure a grey haired Jaime Lee Curtis attempting to revive a 40 year old movie franchise is going to have people tripping over themselves to the box office. Do you have any real numbers to back this up other than a typical decline?

I'm not sure if this would be the right forum for this but considering the "ask CGC" forum is devoid of a pulse I'll try it here... Would I be able to submit a single page from a comic or the whole raw book and have CGC remove the page I want then have them put it in a PG slab? "PG" meaning page of course Thanks in advance for any responses

List of Comic Books Seen in Movies and Television Shows
MGsimba77 replied to Ditch Fahrenheit's topic in Comics General
No actual showing of a comic but I was watching an episode of Adam-12 from 1975 where this guy's talking to Reed & Milloy about his neighbor taking all of his comics & how hard it was to find 1st edition Superman which he said cost 100 dollars . He went on to mention difficulty of finding 1st ed green lantern, cap marvel, etc etc. Anyhow just thought it was noteworthy -
In all seriousness there are probably 3 people I could think of where that would apply. Hitler Pol Pot, leader of the Khmer Rouge Caligula (mentally ill or not) Venom should've had a visit or two with those clowns K back to the movie...

Saw it on Tuesday & it's making bank for a reason. It was everything I hoped it would be ! Woah I'm just blown away by how they created this very difficult character to portray on screen!!! The trailers just don't do the CGI justice. Trust me you've have got to see this on the big screen as opposed to Blue ray. Venom and other symbiotes just looked insanely realistic and creepy in a good way. As for the movie I'd give it a solid B. Can't give it an A because it diverted too much from the comics and of course the absence of the spider symbol on Venom. Just a few minor critics... It took way way to looong for the symbiote to finally show up. I thought Riz Ahmed's character was just a bit robotic. The chase scene on the motor cycle was too long. Hardy was as good as advertised! Really loved the parts where he was first feeling the effects of the parasite. The guy literally looked like he was about to drop dead! Amazing acting job! Also loved when Venom called Eddie the "P" word. Those who saw the movie would know what I mean. It had everydoby in the theater laughing. The first post credit scene got me jacked up for the sequel. Sony well surpassed all expectations and I'm just over the moon about this franchise!!! Everyone should see it as soon as possible

The Thread that No One Demanded: Buzzetta at NYCC 2018

And I thought there were no cool people there... -
I get your point. I'm not really one to believe in the "burn the forrest in order to save it" theory at least in most cases. In sports it could make sense however I'd wish to high heaven they would've just had a nice & neat MCU style storyline here on Venom's origin that mimics the comics! Once that was not in the cards however I still wouldn't have wished for it to just crater. I have no idea what they may have in the cards for Spider-man down the road since there's talk of a possible trilogy? It's possible I may dig what they end up doing when it's all said and done. That's why I like to keep an open mind

I recently had bronze age books graded that came back as a cream to off white and another that came back white pages. To be honest the pages on the cream book were mostly in great condition. The only thing I could see was some tanning on the bottom edge of most of the pages. The area of the pages that were tan was so small just the very bottom edge. If I compared how the pages looked on both books I'd say they were ~ 97% the same. Hope that was helpful

I never got why people were so determined to predict failure/dump on this so much??? Does rotten tomatoes & the critics carry that much weight? Oh my God all these doom & gloom predictions were nauseating! Where are all these Venom haters now? Still wish this was MCU but this is why it's important to keep an open mind about things

Very sorry for the off topic but in case you fellas are interested they're going to run "are you being served" tonight on PBS at 7:30 pm eastern followed by "keeping up appearances". They usually run them at this time Saturday nights. Anyways back to the movie, I just happened to catch Spidey 3 while channel surfing today and wow the contrast between this Venom and that one is striking!!! It's like comparing chicken scratch to a Picasso! Looking forward to catching the movie on Tuesday as long as it's not sold out

I think it's only one scene. I'm referring to the part where they're only showing Hardy from the neck up while he's in the MRI machine and he just starts going bonkers. It's a quick scene in the first trailer. No Williams just Hardy in the machine. I think it has something to do with the symbiote having trouble with radiation from the machine.
-
Oh yeah that Topher Grace version was brutal. Not only with the symbiote retracting every time Brock said something but making Venom skinny was awful. When I first heard about this Sony version I was hoping for a comic accurate depiction of the first time Mary Jane saw Venom sitting in the dark mistaking him for spider man then being kidnapped. Oh man that "I'm home" line would of been beautiful on screen!!! Oh well it's just a bong hit pipe dream at this point ?. MCU would of nailed that!
-
I think just based on Woody playing Carnage I'll be more jacked for next one! I'll definitely be sticking around for the post credits!
-
What did you think of the part when Hardy wigs out in the MRI machine as they showed in 1st trailer? No spoilers just if you liked it or not? I'm anxious to see happens there!

How would it be possible to make a realistic looking Venom?

"Definitive" List of Bronze Age Marvel Keys

Anything that was released during January 1970 is when bronze started. Everything I've seen indicates bronze to be 1970-1982 -
I think writing on the book anywhere front or back is what they hammer. Especially with ink. Though I wonder how graders would consider a date stamp if its large and obscures some artwork?
