  1. Who would have thought, I thought Spidey was eternal.
  2. Doesn't get much better than early FF. Pretty nice copy TSwift, where did you pick it up from?
  3. Ah.... read it again, I think she is having the climax!!
  4. Tks, as much as I love Silver Marvel, best stories are Barks.
  5. Three of the best Barks stories. And great great covers.
  6. Had to have this when I spotted it in the fall during a trip to New York City. Gotham City Comics was the place. The owner of these comics liked to punch holes in the top left corner, 3 holes for 1953, 6 for 1956. God I'm glad he didn't punch 1953 holes for 1953.
  7. Even tho I collect mostly Silver Marvel my favorite stories are Bark's Uncle Scrooge. Pardon my low grade ugly comics but the stories are wonderful. Picked this up on a road trip to Calgary last fall. Always the Marvel Zombie I prefer Disney with Marvel chipping.
  8. What were the Heritage grades on these beauties? Here is their description: Average FN-. Includes #8 (has a rusty top staple), 10, 15, 27, 28, and #29 (has a 1" tear on the back cover) #8 is the best of the bunch - I'd say it is a NM (except for the rusty staples), and the rest present really well, so I think Heritage is pretty close (erring on the safe side). The rusty staples are really noticable on the number 8. A beaut. otherwise.
  9. Thanks! If you liked the show, you should check out the comic series! It's written by Weadon and other writers from Firefly, feels just like other episodes, and are in continuity! If you already have read them, well, you are a good man. I will KAK, was surprised I liked the TV series. A shame it was cancelled as the show really was entertaining and deserved a much longer run. Too true! If you happen to be hitting San Diego, stop by and see Will Conrad (the artist on the Serenity series,) he's a very nice guy, as with everyone I've met that has worked with Joss. I don't know if Whedon will be at Comic Con, but if so, and ya just see the guy, stop by and say hi, easily one of the most enertaining and approachable Hollywood "bigshots" I've had the pleasure of meeting! I've never been to a major show. Trying to talk the little woman into a summer trip to San Diego, at con time natch.
  10. Wizard comics. South side of Edmonton near the University. The owner bought out a local collecter turned dealer who sold at local shows and on Ebay as Silvermine. 11 short boxes of almost all 8.0 to 9.4 Silver and Bronze.
  11. The more I see this era Strange Tales, TOS and TTA the more I think they were some of Marvels best work. Classic cover
  12. Just picked up some books from a LCS Don't see covers this shade enough. Couldn't resist, pretty cheap.
  13. Out of my price range. I did buy a Kirby Forever People page a long time ago. It is beautiful.
  14. Hell ya, it was Kirby. I would love to own one little Kirby FF page.
  15. Some collectors don't seem to like this story arc but I loved it. Nice book laddie.
