that may b and it should b but recently i went thru all my Moore Swamp Things and was pretty amazed by how little they have gone up in value over the years....

I believe this is a special little book.....30 cent Variant cover .....limited distribution......now it all comes down to the grade .....the cover looks pretty good but i'd say the front and back appear 2 b a pretty dirty........u can get it cleaned and I think that would help in the grade.....the back edges look pretty rough...there's some creases and what looks like a scratch and lots of tics on back spine....the back shows some wear on the edge also....there's some discoloration on the back also i believe .....The front has some issues on the bottom left corner area.....i have a feeling this book wasn't stored all that well.....the front spine in the middle has some ink bleeding or something.....some weird specs....or something......the corners have some wear but appear o.k. and the staples appear 2 b o.k. also.....there's a lot going on here and it adds up ...ask Triple Jay what he thinks.....he's pretty smart guy......I'm a newbie......a 6.0 is so 2 say flat and clean.....and this is so dirty i think it must b below that.....i'm gonna say 5.0 this sure looks 2 b a candidate for a cleaning......maybe some of the others will offer there opinion on that.........pay attention 2 what the others say more than me.....I'm a newbie..... if this comic book was a 9.2 it might b worth around 650.00 but as is,.....,,if it's a 5.0 it might b around 65.00 to 70.00 and then i wouldn't think it would b worth getting certified........................this is all nothing more than newbie speculation.......good luck.....

I would think if it's a 4.0 it would b worth about 200.00

consider the cost of certifying again.......then if it comes back as a 9.6 again.....now how much is your book worth ?

for my comics of worth i like to leave them in a safety deposit box therefore i'm not tempted to display them....keep them out of direct sunlight..... and not handling them and rereading them or showing them to my friends.....that way their left alone until that day in the distant future where i slab them.

I've been collecting comic books since the early 80's and i've never had a comic certified........problem being that once i get it certified i can never read it again........i know there r these dollar reprint editions coming out these day's but i like to keep my money and only put it towards new comics or old ones i don't own. That being said as u get older i think about not leaving a collection to my luved 1's that they can't make heads or tails out of............ so i've started categorizing my collection along with grading every single comic in my entire collection. Then i think i'm gonna start certifying. I have bought some Marvel Masterwork hardcovers so i can go ahead and sell long runs of old books i own. Problem being those Hardcover books r extremely pricey .....but u look for sales and usually get them Buy 2 get 1 free. I don't want my collection to overwhelm the people i leave it 2 so u have to start preparing. Plus i want my collection to not be dumped for ( whatever u can get ) either. Comic Collectors these day's r all about Keys....Keys...Keys and Keys......its all u here....there not buying runs....they r buying Keys so that comes into play. U have to think at what price point would u consider Certifying your books also. Everyone has a different price level and a different opinion. Right now and this can change...almost monthly but i want my comic book to be at least worth 100.00 bucks to even consider to get it slabbed.....and it makes a difference between ..is it Golden Age ...is it Silver Age or even Modern Books ...or the Bronze Books ....there's a lot of reading out there but generally i think people's price point is generally over 100.00 Bucks ....................What say u fellow graders........... p.s. I'll try and grade your book sometime later........

this book is crazy good....tremendous colors....great looking corners.....very minor tiny tics.....the back looks great ....a few lines in either bottom corner...the top left appears 2 b a little darker shade than the rest of the back......I think.... the only real problem I c is that mark under Wendigo on the front cover.....what a bummer....everything is so nice but that mark is gonna hurt....I don't think it's a 9.0 but i believe it's better than a 8.0 so i'm gonna say 8.5 p.s. I'm da newbie so pay more attention to other people.....after u get this certified let us know how it went.....it's in amazing condition and I think others will grade it higher...

slight spine roll...rounded corners....small piece missing.... a few decent size creases....long 1 coming down front spine....a lot of wear front and back...looks like a small tear or 2. There is a lot going on here and it adds up........ 2.5

yes there is a spine roll...looks a little rough on the spine area around the spiderman logo.....there's several tics along the spine....there looks like a little wave pattern on the cover bottom right that could have been caused by storage.....i know there's a spine roll but the other side appears to have a slight roll also....there's some wear on the back and a slight crease in bottom left corner...then there's a much bigger crease a little higher from that one....the bottom back has some issues.....then there's another even bigger crease running diagonal across the back with some deep grooves.....and the back is a little dirty 2.....the back left edge has some issues also.....there is a lot going on here and it all adds up.....the corners appear 2 b somewhat decent.....i'm gonna say 4.0 Hey Triple J what do u think ? How far off am I ? p.s. I'm a newbie say pay more attention to what the others say.
