o.k. so its the pictures......tons of glare and shadows...it throws of your perception....there is a deep crease on back cover and maybe another 1 under that one. It's kind of like trying to grade a book in the dark. I think i'll let the more experienced graders throw their hat in the ring on these 2. What say u fellow Graders ? Is there a slight spine roll on this 1 ?

what's with the glare and shadows in the picture of the back cover ? That Shadow is on the front 2 ...I think.....there's 3 scratches on the front top....what r those Triple J...they kinda look like someones cat was pawing at it...they r very faint and sharp. Is there rust on those staples ? There appears 2 b some kind of issue with the back but it's hard to tell with that glare and the different shades of dark . I think there's some kind of warping on the front and back but that glare keeps getting in my way. Maybe it's the glare that's throwing me off. The front of the spine look's kind of beat up with lots of tics but the back of the spine looks pretty darn good....does this book sit flat ? Hey 1972 give us some feed back and lets get Triple J to chime in. I don't like to just throw grades around unless i feel there at least somewhat accurate with the condition of the comic.......what say u fellow Graders ?

i just can't get over this subject matter...the back appears to have held up pretty good over the years......i'm gonna say 2.0 just to shake things up around here...how about this .....the back lifts the grade of the comic book from a 1.5 to a 2.0 when's the last time u heard that......probably never but that's why i'm the newbie

that spine sure looks pretty good...don't know about that ink thing ....Triple J ? ......does appear 2 b some blunting on the corners....there's some decent size tics coming out of spine u can c on the back....slight crease top upper right on back....looks like a scratch line on bottom back....does that go thru ? Sure looks like minor foxing on back bottom.....If that's minute wear on corners it could b an 8.0 but i think it's more than that....i'm gonna say 7.0 go with what the other people say .....i'm newbie

i'd pay more attention to what the smart people say and take anything i say with a grain of salt.

it would probably need a minor tear somewhere to go to a 4.0 it's rough around that 1 staple and the middle back left has some deep scratches.....its hard 2 tell.............there's a lot going on and it adds up..

I don't think it's higher than a 4.5 and i don't think it's lower than a 4.0 but i like to round down so 4.0

the back looks really good...there's a crease it looks like above the reward money....some wear around top staple and a couple of small creases along spine....the cover has good color..all 4 corners have some wear.....there's several tics along spine some with color break...top right and bottom right have creases one much bigger than other one. There is some cover wear....but it appears 2 b minimal ....2 b a 7.0 it needs 2 b relatively flat and clean which i don't think this is....2 many tics and creased corner ...so i think 6.0

what is that spot on the back at the top ?

My Brain Hurts......I feel like a Monty Python skit....

these r very involved ....to late to start another of these tonight...maybe tomorrow .

rounded corners.....surface wear....slight tear on cover.....discoloration along the spine on back and front.....the back is in pretty rough shape ...that will hurt the grade a little.....a little tear in bottom corner ....bottom corners r creased....some large tics coming out of spine......small tear on top of back cover......the H is scratched out on the cover or something....these start to add up. It's a lot to take in......now its better to have blunted corners than rounded corners and it does affect the grade I just don't know when a blunted corner becomes rounded but i think this is somewhere in the middle. There appears to b a decent size crease running up the front spine like for half the cover but its very faint but there appears to b a slight hole or a cover break under the V. I believe its better than a 3.0 but i don't think its a 4.0 So i'm gonna say 3.5 I'm new and i'm dumb so i would just concentrate on what other people say................ p.s. Luv The Daisy BB Guns add on back. Growing up my next door neighbor owned Daisy Guns...so we had a lot of shoot outs in the woods......only got shot in the face once....dangerous thing BB Guns.

an 8.0 ...spine is almost flat with no roll....a 7.0 has the slightest spine roll so i would think since the rest of the book looks so good that ....as is this book is a 7.5

Hello people.....r these scratches considered surface wear ? If they r would these scratches b considered almost imperceptible ? If both of these r true i would think it comes in at 9.0 p.s. What say u Triple J and da rest of ya'all
