It may seem
But I predict according to greggy tat
That mine will go from it's now sfg to something else next wee, but it won't ship or get to me before Thanksgiving or worse just before it and it'll be a long refresh on the shipping method
To be home to "sign" for it
always a bit hectic cause I'm usually hitting the ground running....
You talking about your Campbell SS? My Campbell is still sitting at SFG since 11/5

Uh, because in some other universe wolves have venom?

Agreed on the ads. There are some variants that don't have any ads on the back, but they a re extremely few and far in between for specific books that you want to get signed. For me, front cover and nice placement will do.

With various (and degrading) variants of his signature, the yellow label is the only thing I can truly trust anymore.

B then A. I still believe in the power of reasonable negotiation and communication.

overqualified. move on.

Does being on the HOS block that person from submitting a book for grading? Will CGC honor the submission If Shooman has the book and attempts to sub it?

On this note, a Reddit post inspired me to take a look at the Spawn Origins Collections on eBay, and they're now all mostly exorbitantly priced because "OOP".
Thank lord I jumped on that bandwagon before 2020.
Which Spawn, the 4-volume big slip-cased one or the 10-volume set? I opted for the latter which was cheaper but still hard to complete with #8 and #7 topping the bill.

Maybe his account got hacked after he sent the item out??? Perhaps someone messing and sending eBay messages out on his behalf. Doesn't explain the refund though unless it was also hacked. But yeah, hella weird.

To the detail-oriented submitters here, any special setup you do in inspecting the books, and what works best for you? Like, do you use magnifying glass on a stand and move the book around, or the other way around? Do you use bright fluorescent and/or an ultraviolet light? What setup does best in showing up any imperfections? Any recommendations from Amazon?

I agree with someone's assessment here that newstands are for completists, or for sellers who know their stuff.
Personally, I don't have unlimited funds to burn, so they don't appeal to me. I'd be happy enough to have a high quality first printing direct edition, then move on to my next book. As for variants, only if I like the cover or a fan of the artist. I consider myself a "practical" collector"
Having said that, I respect the zeal and tenacity of these completists. Good example is a post here I came across of a Superman 18 Doomsday from the first printing down to the DC newstands, very hardcore.

Did you ever have a roommate or a shady family member? They sometimes steal stuff, you know

If it was a 9.8 FF 202 on FB, it was actually my book. Clink let me know it hit CVA, so I paid the $8 for the sticker...
The person who posted it, said he picked it up the other day, which is false. It just ended on clink last night.
Your book is fine and I actually like it. First time I heard about CVA so I looked it up, perhaps I should open up a business to grade their silver and gold sticker.

""no sticker will be affixed to the holder if the CGC Graded comic book does not possess eye appeal and superior structure...""
Extraordinarily Exceptional
So they grade the aesthetic looks of the book and the case? To quote Joe Biden, "Oh, c'mon man!!"

Yeah, we've known about this for years. Lots of fun mocking threads about it.
sorry, spur of the fingers thing and didnt search it up. Saw it on a social media post and on a new slab at that so looks like they are still in business.

What is the point/rationale of the existence of a company that verifies a certified book? Where will verification end? Do you really want another hologram sticker to say that the CGC hologram sticker is authentic, and does it really add value?

man that's commitment!
I had a friend who knew of my struggle, so when he saw the book I was going to send posted by another person, he tagged me. That got the juices flowing and I stayed up late last night creating a window bag etc.
Awoke this morning thinking what am I attempting here, and I still sent it haha
I had to call, cause the coupon on my printout for the window bag.... once again had no description under the "tier" section....
It still said artist Campbell and pressing and all the other info, but when I pulled it up to print, nothing under the "tier"
Now you got me thinking what Campbell book you sent in that made you sit over the fence

I have a CGC Signature Series book that I'd like to get CCS pressed and regraded (with fast track). Please advise on how to navigate the submission page to do this. Thank you.
