  1. I believe it. I've seen a few 5.0s go for $1200-$1250.
  2. Don't let the doom and gloomers get you down, you've got one if the most "liquid" books in the hobby, you'll be fine.
  3. Thanks, I try to buy on eye appeal, no matter what the technical grade may be.
  4. Had an interested party back out of a deal, so bumping this book, send me a message, I don't bite
  5. just one book for now, Incredible Hulk #181 CGC universal grade 6.5 off-white pages. book has nice centering, no stamps or writing. no tape. just a real nice mid grade copy. asking $ 1750 $1635.00 now, the rules. Paypal or Money Order accepted. US shipping is free. Canada and everywhere else shipping at cost, I declare full value on customs forms First I'll Take It in the thread wins, so if we agree to something via PM it is not final until the "I'll Take It" is posted in the thread. If return is due to an error on my part, i.e. missed restoration, detached centerfold, or something like that then I will refund full amount including shipping and pay for return shipping. If return is due to a disagreement over grade, or buyer's remorse then buyer pays return shipping
  6. would much rather pay the extra $2k for the 4.5 copy.
  7. I've always believed it's #27. As she is mentioned by name in the story and wearing the same yellow dress.
  8. I just checked my comic buy/sales spread sheet I've been keeping since around 2008 and I bought this book from you, held it for a bit then sold it in a Comiclink auction which I ended up making a small profit which went into buying "I think" an AF15.
  9. Mike you had the mother of all single wraps, the first wrap to Action #1 featuring the origin. Wish I had bought it at the time.
  10. Depends on what images the individual page features. Some story pages can be as iconic as front cover images.
  11. time to pull those Batman #1s out of those long boxes boys. or more realistically 1st print Killing Jokes
  12. I was wondering that myself. If this were an Action 1 or Tec 27. 3+ million would be guaranteed. So I don't see why a 9.4 highest graded AS 8 couldn't fetch 1 mil.
  13. I went with my Nephew, and yes, if you were looking for vintage books, kinda disappointing, I think there may have been only about 8 dealers that were selling vintage books, everything else was prints, swords, fidget spinners and the like, lots of isle room to freely walk around, not crowded at all. Harely Yee was setup, he has an amazing selection, but with amazing prices as well, Dave Capellca (sp?) was there along with several other dealers, one dealer had nothing priced with signs that said "ask for price" so I asked for a price on a non-key mid-low grade DC bronze book, he pulls out the guide and quoted me the VF price of $75, I said no thanks, I wish I could get guide prices for my non-key mid-grade bronze books. I managed to buy only 3 books. we won't be going next year.
  14. selling this book for my Nephew who collects Walking Dead books, he recently upgraded to a CGC 9.8 copy so he is selling this 9.6 copy. Walking Dead #1 CGC 9.6 white. asking $1600 shipped or best offer. Paypal or Money Order accepted. 15. I'm thinking a well presenting CGC 1.0 unrestored copy would hit between $35-40k at auction. I'm fairly sure blue label 0.5s are $20-25k.
  16. So what would a complete 1.0 blue go for nowadays?
  17. Good Lord that cover is glossy.
