  1. DC Gold, Silver & Bronze. Batman, Superman, Spiderman. hey guys, got a few books up for sale this weekend. take a look, kick the tires. first the rules: Paypal or Money Order accepted. US shipping is $6 up to 3 books. Canada and everywhere else shipping at cost, I declare full value on customs forms First I'll Take It in the thread wins, so if we agree to something via PM it is not final until the "I'll Take It" is posted in the thread. This just eliminates all potential problems. I reserve the right not to sell to anyone on my do not deal with list. Payment expected within two days of request. Time payments are an option for any book over $1,000. Just PM me first to setup a time arrangement that we both agree on. Return Policy -Raw books can be returned within 1 week of receipt (Notify me of intent to return within 1 week of receipt, and then ship within 1 week after notification). If return is due to an error on my part, i.e. missed restoration, detached centerfold, or something like that then I will refund full amount including shipping and pay for return shipping. If return is due to a disagreement over grade, or buyer's remorse then buyer pays return shipping.
  2. this..... no way it has peaked. wish I had one.
  3. all of these look better than their assigned grades.
  4. I definitely see your point, I just haven't kept up with FF1 prices, so I thought maybe $17k plus was good for a 6.0 copy. I'm more a GA guy.
  5. yeah, I know this books been lagging behind all other Marvel keys for some time, I blame the movies, sad really, but $17k plus is still respect no? even if due to nicer eye appeal than given grade.
  6. AF15 prices rise for 3 main reasons, 1. those who wish to own and keep a copy 2. even at these increasing prices, it's still a very good book to flip for profit, since it seems to increase yearly/monthly. 3. collectors have realized (for awhile now) that it's in the top 3 books as far as 1st Superhero appearances. along with Action 1 and Tec 27. no matter if it's not as old of a book and easier to get. I've owned 3 copies and really wish I had kept my first two.
  7. WOW! that's how you answer a post. LOL! thanks so much guys, I have relayed the info to my friend, thanks again.
  8. directly through, and also willing to detour outside around Atlanta area.
  9. a buddy of mine is traveling through Atlanta soon and wants to know which comic book stores are worth a visit to. he is mostly interested in back issues. thanks.
  10. because, it was decided when CGC opened it's doors many years ago, they would use Overstreet price guide notations, so really, it's Overstreet who has had it wrong these many years.
  11. yes, plus I believe she is wearing the same yellow dress and is referred to as "Lois" in the inside story of Action #27.
  12. born the son of a poor sharecropper....
  13. Holy hammer price Batman!?! Wow what a sale!!! My personal copy is looking even better strong price to be sure, sure makes it hard for a fella to upgrade. the mega GA keys are rapidly getting out of most collectors reach. Sure is.. I think lower graded copies of major keys will mostly benefit in an upward surge faster than higher graded ones because less people have the funds to pay for higher graded copies. I think this is the effect we are seeing and will continue to see. completely agree.
