  1. I should have some good stuff given how long I've been collecting. I've been pecking away at the model kits since about 1983 and the other toys since about 2000. I pick up most of my kits and toys these days from either Ebay or Hake's Auctions.
  2. Damn that evil windbag! I guess Fredruc Wertham was right after all.
  3. Well you don't need to twist my arm when it comes to posting westerns. Here are scans of four more of my Lone Ranger books: 76 78 79 91
  4. Here are some shots of my sundry toy cabinet: Here are the Hamilton's Invaders items from this cabinet:
  5. I love Bat-Mite covers! Here are scans of three more of my Action Comics:
  6. Mmmmmmm! And a headlight cover to boot. Awesome book!
  7. Mmmmmmmm, a 9.6 featuring two of my favourites, the Elongated Man in his original costume and the Pied Piper! Fabulous! (thumbs u Now here are scans of my Flash books with cover appearances by the nefarious Mirror Master:
  8. Here are scans of three more of the House of Secrets books in my collection:
  9. I've admired that book a number of times at shows but I still don't own one.
  10. Okay then. I can sympathize with a fellow DC collector's plight so I'll take it just to relieve the mental anguish I'm sure you must feel. Here though are scans of some of my earliest Justice League books:
  11. It's a nice one alright. It looks better than an 8.0 from the pic. (thumbs u
  12. Andy what is your store like? What town is it located in? I've got a coin shop in London, Ontario. It smells of "old". I sell antiques, militaria, coins, stamps, paper money, comic books, gold and silver bullion, among a few others. Family business since 1964. It's a pretty awesome store too, Andy! Indeed it is! I've been popping in every once in a while since about 1980. (thumbs u Hopefully her family is in the Toronto area as opposed to Vancouver. London would be quite the drive from the west coast.
  13. Here are scans of three more of my favourite Strange Adventures covers:
  14. I actually see eight reasons. Here are scans of a few more of my House of Mystery books though:
  15. In a few weeks I'm going to start reposting all my scanned books together by title in the "Hepcat will still be Hepcat" thread.
  16. Sweet copy of an even sweeter title! I'm wondering how much extra credit we get in this thread for posting pics of books with dust/sun shadows?
  17. In no particular order, 139, 140, 142 and 145. I think Carmine Infantino's Flash cover art peaked in the late 1963 to early 65 period.
  18. Here are scans of other Justice League books with sundry guest appearances:
  19. Here are scans of my books featuring the dastardly Top on the cover: The villainy of the Top should never be underestimated. After all, this was the fellow willing to blow up half the Earth in order to rule the other half until foiled by the Flash in issue #122!
  20. Here are scans a few more of my Detective Comics:
  21. A word to the wise. Just because it's all you can eat doesn't mean you have to. Oh I think I'm going to die.
  22. Here are scans of my copies of the first three appearances of the Justice Society in JLA, including the #29; Northland copy
  23. Has that proposition ever been tested? Marnin Rosenberg and others have stated that they have no problem in telling pressed books apart from unpressed books.
  24. Those are exquisite copies! I prefer the cover art on the #27 though.
  25. Big Frankie, without a doubt. Not many were made since the $4.98 retail price gave most modellers a bad case of sticker shock when it was issued in the mid-sixties. A distant second would be Godzilla's Go-Kart, King Kong's Thronester or the larger Lost in Space diorama kit.
