  1. I actually see eight reasons. Here are scans of a few more of my House of Mystery books though:
  2. In a few weeks I'm going to start reposting all my scanned books together by title in the "Hepcat will still be Hepcat" thread.
  3. Sweet copy of an even sweeter title! I'm wondering how much extra credit we get in this thread for posting pics of books with dust/sun shadows?
  4. In no particular order, 139, 140, 142 and 145. I think Carmine Infantino's Flash cover art peaked in the late 1963 to early 65 period.
  5. Here are scans of other Justice League books with sundry guest appearances:
  6. Here are scans of my books featuring the dastardly Top on the cover: The villainy of the Top should never be underestimated. After all, this was the fellow willing to blow up half the Earth in order to rule the other half until foiled by the Flash in issue #122!
  7. Here are scans a few more of my Detective Comics:
  8. A word to the wise. Just because it's all you can eat doesn't mean you have to. Oh I think I'm going to die.
  9. Here are scans of my copies of the first three appearances of the Justice Society in JLA, including the #29; Northland copy
  10. Has that proposition ever been tested? Marnin Rosenberg and others have stated that they have no problem in telling pressed books apart from unpressed books.
  11. Those are exquisite copies! I prefer the cover art on the #27 though.
  12. Big Frankie, without a doubt. Not many were made since the $4.98 retail price gave most modellers a bad case of sticker shock when it was issued in the mid-sixties. A distant second would be Godzilla's Go-Kart, King Kong's Thronester or the larger Lost in Space diorama kit.
  13. I'll be a guest at the Roughriders-Argonauts game tonight in Mackenzie Financial's tent on the sidelines at the SkyDome in Toronto! I'm looking forward to cheering the Argonauts on to victory together with all the hot dogs, chicken wings, nachos and popcorn I can eat! So if you see a black cat streaking across the field at tonight's game, that will be me!
  14. Women seem genetically inclined that way. The only interests most think are worth pursuing have to do with relationships, mating, raising children etc. That's their singleminded focus in life.
  15. Here then are scans of two more: The #13 has a cover that ranks right up there with my favourite Aquaman covers.
  16. Despite the technical flaws, both those covers are super cool! (thumbs u
  17. Wow! 9.6s! Those are sharp! (thumbs u Here are the scans of my multiple Green Lantern books: Oakland copy
  18. Here are scans of my early Justice League books with the appearances of potential new members:
  19. Interesting that DC went with a split cover for that issue. You would think that they would have saved one of those cover concepts for another issue.
  20. There's a high grade SA slab collector right on this board who's selling/sold just about all his comics because of this trend in the industry. Do you think he's the only one? Meaning more supply and less demand in the future.
  21. Here are scans of some of my Flash issues featuring the dastardly Captain Cold: Northland copy I have a particulary soft spot in my heart for #140 because I remember the spellbinding effect it had on me when I first saw it on the magazine stand at Les' Variety on Wortley Road in London.
  22. The #5 is tough to beat although I have nostalgic ties to #11 and #12.
  23. Here are scans of some of my favourite Lois Lane covers from later in the run:
  24. Here are scans of two more of my earlier Batman books:
