  1. Great books Vern. Somehow I missed seeing your MARVEL #1... do you mind reposting or providing a link?
  2.        And approximate price? Will send a PM!
  3. Depends on size, time and detail. Each one is a unique situation.
  4. Thanks guys! Some boardies lined me up with some interesting commissions for 2015...
  5. Not a book I own, but a classic Guardineer panel nonetheless.
  6. Thanks Stephen. Great to learn more about your fab collection.
  7. My other fav... the colouring on this cover is outstanding!!
  8. thanks for looking at them Ryan. You can check them out in person next time if you want. "IF"?
  9. WHAAAAAAAAAAT. I'm dying of envy already! GREAT pick up. Can't wait to see the rest. Bronty was kind enough to set aside an hour and a half this past Sunday to meet up and geek out (and hand deliver a Commando Comics #11). I brought the Centaurs, he brought the Bells. Two rare comic niches collided, and it was an enjoyable morning. 30 Bells in 90 minutes! Thanks Bronty.
  10. Great thread! Somehow I missed it the first time around. LOVE this cover!!
  11. Wonderful! I love this cover. One of the local comic con finds I assume?
  12. Both Simon and the colourist did a tremendous job on this cover. Nice copy!
  13. Nice haul Stephen! If you have an under copy of ACTIVE #16, let me know! Its one of my favourite Bell covers (and a rare Bachle cover to boot!). (thumbs u
  14. A werd choice, I know, but maybe my favourite golden age cover. It hooked me in the '80's when I saw it in Overstreet, took me over 20 years to buy a copy. Comicjack, your copy is stellar, as are the other Centaurs you have been posting. Maybe one day we'll see a group shot of your top picks in your collection!
  15. what a start ! Agreed. What a great looking book. This book presents very well. Congratulations. (thumbs u Fantastic Book, can't go wrong with this one.
  16. The author of the book is looking for any information anyone has on Mark Schneider who is the artist who drew the "Eye" story in KDF 20, taking over from Frank Thomas. Does anyone know what happened to Frank? Did he leave Centaur for some other company? FYI, Frank Thomas definitely drew the Eye story in KDF 20, not Schneider. Also the cover.
  17. Nice score! I'm digging the foreign sci fi/pulp material these days...
