  2. Awesome Pauls... Glynn has got to have one of the best Paul collections around.
  3. Had three nice pre-code books listed, but only one left... ASTONISHING #10 Walking Dead cover! With date stamp! ASTONISHING Great Everett story!
  4. Hey Jon! looking forward to this WEIRD ride. This was my last purchase EVER from David T. Alexander Collectibles. Back when I bought and kept things I really should have returned.
  5. One of the few Frank Thomas Centaur covers. Great purchase, classic cover!
  6. Cool book, Jim (thumbs u Fab cover , nice copy Jim! I have never seen that cover before, or at least, no recollection of it.
  7. Great images Bronty and Marty! Thanks of posting! those Bell house ads =
  8. Not too shabby Bronty! Love the craft tint/duotone cover! When you crack and read, why not shoot a few photos of the interior? Nice job!
  9. Want. Hey Roy, That is a recreation I did SOOO long ago, I don't even count it as part of the family of recent recreations. It was a long learning curve on that cover... the text is all done on a acetate overlay, painted image done in gouache. Totally different than what I do now.
  10. Lions and tigers and apes, oh my Sorry, it had to be said.
  11. The only pic I can see of it is the one on the banner of Ted's site...hopefully a boardie landed this one as well and will tell us all about it!!!! My centaur money is on GAtor!!! http://www.superworldcomics.com/php/bid.php?id=96401 Thank you!
  12. So no one has the link to the Superworld AMAN 22?
  13. I was watching that one too.... Anyone have a link or scan of that book?
  14. Love that one, Jack Ditto! Probably my single-most favourite comic. I don't recall seeing the BW copy up for auction???
  15. Canadian whites house ad: Brok Windsor announcement from an BETTER COMICS:
  16. Fantastic book! Here's my meager Canadian pulp and comic collection. The two pulps are published by Superior. I guess technically, this house ad (covers only) is one of the first appearances of Brok Windsor?
  17. Here are a couple I didn't post... part of a five cover commission. Never got these properly photographed, so please excuse the quality.
  18. Thanks guys. Can't believe how busy the boardies keep me.
  19. June 1936, that sweet spot before the golden age of comics really took hold.
  20. Here's one I have been after for a while. This is only the second one I have ever seen for sale... the first one had a faded spine and creases and sold for $500 several years ago. This copy , while creased, has beautiful off white pages, and complete spine, no trimming or tape, and great cover colours featuring Norman Saunders artwork! This is one of my few "must have" pulps. Anyone else have a copy of this issue? Or any other of the tough MYSTERY ADVENTURE issues?
  21. Love this Secret Agent X. I think this was offered at Heritage in the past. I recall seeing it for sale a few years back. Those X's are near impossible to find, let alone in this sort of grade.
  22. I have a couple low enders in the marketplace right now... AMAZING MYSTERY FUNNIES #4 front cover only and WEIRD FANTASY #13 (#1) with cover detached from interior. Thanks for looking!
