2 of the 3 comics belong in this thread. The one that doesn't I doubt I'll get any complaints. These are not my comics but belong to a friend who bought these 40 years ago and they are not for sale. When I asked what he thought the FAC 20 would be worth he said $2000. I said he was off a little. I'm sending them to CGC so I get to enjoy them until they head for a vacation in FL. I thought you fellow geeks would like to see them.

Have a local auctioneer come in and just do an auction. Make sure it's on auction zip website and you should get dealers and collectors coming from 100 mile radius and sell it in lots.

Didn't this TEC 29 just sell last month as restored but no trim noted? I was scared off because it had been mentioned as once trimmed. If it did sell where is the listing on HA? Yes. The sale from the last auction was canceled. OK Thanks. Who cancelled the sale buyer or HA? the buyer OK I would think then the buyer had HA resubmit and if trimmed no deal if not trimmed then deal. If the sale didn't happen on the untrimmed version of the comic why is GPA showing it did happen at $22,108 on Nov 17 and the label notes say "Restoration includes: tear seals to interior, spine splits sealed to cover. (CENTERFOLD TRIMMED.)" Graded 11/30/16 which is a week after it sold. Anyway it would have sold for maybe $15K tops I believe if Trimmed had originally been noted. Could well be, but for me the cf being trimmed on a book like this wouldn't be that big a deal, given the book's other problems. I would agree if your intention was to leave comic alone but if you had plans of making it say 1.0 blue that ideal went out the window with trimmed CF. Everything else could be undone.

I remember it sitting on Clink 7-10 years ago asking around $50K. At the same time Clink had a 6.5 Cap 1 with a big erased out pencil mark asking around $35K. It was about the time I just bought mine and I was thinking I love my Cap 1 but no one else thinks they are worth much. Times have changed. I will say not having the red ink is a big detractor so will be interesting to see how it performs now days.
