  1. Here is a link to Lhcomics Pre-code auctions. Here is link to Scoop article Keep checking my auctions this winter as I'll have another pre=code round of auctions as well as other Golden Age such as war, superhero, humor etc. It'll be a busy next few months for me on eBay. Thanks Leroy
  2. With that comic you were either losing ears or signature. Mine has ears but only signed by Bob. Now I know the dudes last name.
  3. Can't make it this year. Doug is a regular at my comic booth in the Antique Mall where I sell comics here in Paducah.
  4. Really how would you price something like this? No past sales data to go buy so I see nothing wrong with listing. If I were seller and not sure how to price it I would start high but have it on auction. Then if it doesn't sell relist at BIN with best offer. We have certainly boosted his views.
  5. Still not looking good at this time as far as the comic showing up. I did manage to contact a guy who had a 5+ min conversation with the suspected thief. They were just talking random comic collecting stuff. Luckily he had paid with a credit card so I searched my records and got his email. In no way do I feel the guy who made the credit card purchase had any involvement in theft. He would be able to identify the suspected thief by picture only not by complete name. Although he does seem to think during their conversation he said his name was Dave but can't be 100% sure on the name. He also said the guy looked like a 70's rocker with prominent sideburns. The detective on case is aware of this. I have sent emails to the Wizard rep, Convention center rep and the Detective working the case on Tues requesting video of the exits right after comic was noticed missing. Wizard rep has no control of video camera and convention rep says the detective working the case would be the one to speak to. So far detective working case has not replied about the video. I did speak to detective one time before I requested video to fill him on comic value and how theft happened. The detective has also spoken with the guy who could identify him. I have reported to insurance so that process has started. I requested waiting about 2 months on claim in case comic shows up. Thanks again to everyone for keeping an eye out. Leroy
  6. Hulk has always been my favorite Marvel character and Marie was my all time Hulk favorite artist. I bought this page from TOS 93 a few years back and had it framed. Proudly hanging in my office. I wish I could have met her.
  7. Ted I feel your pain. Good luck in recovering the comics. Leroy
  8. These are pics before pressed and graded. Beautiful interior.
  9. Thanks for all the kind words of encouragement and well wishes. I'll even take the advice on how others would handle their expensive comics if they were selling at shows. I was thinking on taking off next year from selling at Cons and trying to boost my eBay store and auctions. Well this theft helped me make my mind up so Baltimore will be my last show this year and maybe forever. I'll reevaluate after 2019 and see if I want to jump back into conventions in 2020. I have a lot of great customers that I enjoy seeing every year and I'll miss them as well as the dealers I call friends. Don't take for granted the dealers that do this convention grind will do so forever. It is most certainly a grind and expensive to do the major shows. Tell your favorite dealer you appreciate that they continue to setup at shows and spend money with them even if it's over GPA. Hopefully the word gets out as I feel it has and when the thief tries to sell he'll get busted. If anything good happens I'll be sure to post it here. Leroy
  10. On a slightly humorous note the police officer said Jabba the Hut was blocking the convention camera pointed in my direction.
  11. Taken off my wall between 11:10 and 11:30 Sunday. Doing the police report now. Will update later.
  12. I'll be at booth 122 which is about 20' from my last 2 years location. I will be selling comics.
  13. Hey Ron! Sorry to hear about your health problems. I wish you a speedy recovery. My first meeting with Ron was when he was in Newport back around 1986. I had just purchased about 30 mile high Wonder Woman comics and he would give me 3X guide in trade for Batman's and Timley's. I believe he consulted with Verzyl to make sure they were actually mile high comics. I remember he had a Mac computer. I had never seen a computer in a home before that. Take care and I look forward to your contributions on the boards. Leroy
  14. I know of a nice coverless copy that sold for $16,500 within last year.
  15. Should have some cool stuff at Chicago.
  16. On plane now. Will be at show tomorrow. I have no money to buy anything so all the dealers can Ignore me this year.

  18. It's funny how on their home page at the top it states "125+ World-Class Experts in 40 Categories" They seem to only know the obvious key items. I wonder how many consignors get burnt because of blunders like this?
  19. Wonder when we will see a topic reading "Wilhehm F. Uthe deceased"? Man I was so stupid back in 1985 sending him all those comics for a trade he never planned on honoring. Just shows how we comic geeks will loose all our sense of logic when that big score is just around the corner.
  20. Talk to the HAND! Strange Adventures 110
