  1. 9.0-9.2 the way it lays right now. A press might guarantee 9.2-9.4 but I have a hard time with a 9.6 or higher on this one.
  2. Congrats on whoever buys these books. And thanks to @jeranimal for showing some great books!!!
  3. Ah what a beauty! This is the kind of copy that if I ever find a copy, well it would be like this and that would suit me juuussssst fiiiinnneee. 2.0. Attached cover (presumably) and complete. If that top left corner were there and the wear was just sliiiggghtly less, its an easy 3.0. I don't think it is nice enough for 2.5 and it is waaaaaaay better than a 1.5-1.8 so I am settling at 2.0 solidly on this one.
  4. The tanning and off colour to the edges will hurt. Structurally solid tho. 6.5-7.0 from me.
  5. It's Golden Age and I always tend to undergrade so 2.5 from me. I would say 2.0 but I think it has enough going for it to warrant 2.5
  6. It presents nice enough to be a 3.5-4.0 IF the cover was attached. I think it still hits 2.0 even with the detached cover.
  7. I will settle in the 7.0-7.5 range also. I don't know if it has enough going to make it a 8.0 or better but it is still a fantastic copy Issues for me are the corners, some spine ticks and slight tanning to page edges
  8. 5.5 from me. I think 6.0 would be generous and 5.0 a tad harsh. The stains suck. Without those, I think you are easily looking at 6.5 or so.
  9. 2.5 for sure, maybeeeee a 3.0. The back is quite nice but the wear is fairly heavy on the front.
  10. Definitely not quite a 2.0. If the back was a tad nicer or some of the spine wear slightly less, I would say 2.0 but I have to also agree with 1.8
  11. You sub 2.0 folks are too harsh....easy 2.0 on this one. Attached, heavy wear, a stain...assuming complete interior, 2.0 all day.
  12. That stain above the bottom staple sucks....or whatever it is. CGC will dock it for sure. 7.0-7.5 from me.
  13. I have found from this forum, that the masses tend to get it right a LOT of the time. At the very least, they get the range right. If majority of the forumnites here predict grades in the 5.0-6.0 range, CGC tends to agree. Very rarely is there a book where people are all over the map. It can happen but if 10 people here see a 7.0, 3 see a 7.5 and 2 see an 8.0, I am calling it a 7.0 maybe 7.5 to be safe. Of course, truth (assuming CGC is truth) will not be told until they see it....
  14. I mean, if I am a die hard Mister Miracle fan, who has the run in 9.8 condition (and I have done so very affordably over the years), then maybe I splurge to complete the set. Just saying....but agree, for majority, that is a TON for a book like that.
  15. I can see a post credits scene being the only thing that truly hints at the future of the MCU....that aside, I will be stunned if the actual plot ties towards bigger things. I do believe it is just to give ScarJo some screen time, I really do. And again, happy to be proven wrong and if I am, I will likely enjoy it even more...I am just tempering my expectations extremely here.
  16. I have a feeling this movie will be a huge letdown and be one of the poorer financial showings for Marvel. And not to any fault of their own. I just think COVID and the delays have really eliminated interest. That and the fact other Disney plus shows are moving forward while this is sidelined tells me all I need to know about Black Widow....a fun stand alone tale to give Black Widow more screentime but that will have no real effects on the overall MCU. At least not in a sense that seeing it is imperative to knowing what has happened or will happen. It could still be a fine movie but I think those who do see it first will have too high expectations. If it is anything more than just an action flick with Black Widow, I will be stunned. And I think too many people are expecting too much here. And hey, if I go in with this mentality, I cannot possibly be disappointed
  17. Listen...some of us are dying over here and can only afford corn syrup and Spam you know!
  18. ^ Yup...those are printer creases For your book, is there slight colour loss where I have circled? If so you might get a 9.4-9.6 on such a book. Check inside cover too to see if the crease is notable and affects anything.
  19. Some theories I have (that will probably all be proven wrong but meh) 1. Agnes is NOT Agatha Harkness...that is bucking the trend which seems all to obvious (her connection to Scarlet Witch, the names Agatha Harkness, etc) but I wanna be different gosh darn it! I do think she is the big baddie in disguise though! 2. Grim Reaper will not appear. If he does, it will be within an episode or so and nothing more. 3. Scarlet Witch will lose her twins (how I do not know but likely at the hands of whoever is trying to infiltrate her "reality") and she will use her powers to create a new reality where mutants are real and always have been (hence, we now get the X-Men into the MCU) and we continue onwards in the movies and films as a part of her new reality. Regardless, I am enjoying the easter eggs. I am enjoying the mystery because for die hard fans, it is a mystery. I can see this not appealing to lesser fans but at the very least, it pays attention to detail with each episode and is taking an approach that is very different yet has been executed extremely well so far. I think the pay off will be huge and even if it lets you down somewhat, the series for most seems to be continuing to keep people talking and guessing and analyzing and overanalyzing. Which means it might not be a series you can replicate or continue beyond a season (definitely not in the same style) but at least you can milk it the way they have been right now. And as a gluttonous Marvel fan, I am loving it.
