  1. I did now and likely undergraded this one (probably did the Whiz too....sigh)
  2. I treated that reddish blob at the bottom back of the Master Comics as some sort of stain...is it?
  3. 3.5-4.0 with the corner chunk being the main reason. Else it falls in the 5.0-5.5 range
  4. I also think 5.0-5.5. A perfectly beautiful mid grader
  5. So I was perusing Youtube and saw someone talking about this "error" variant of ASM 194 Notice the top right where the banner, instead of being all red, has a smidge of yellow. I personally have seen these small errors before and have one similar on an ASM book from a few issues earlier (I have to dig through my stuff tonight and will post here when I find it). Do you think this comic should be noted as an error by CGC if graded?
  6. Nice! to edit the topic click your first post and in the corner there should be three dots to have a drop down appear from which you can select edit.
  7. They seem to be hammering rips on modern books (and when I say modern I mean 1980 to now). Def presents like 7.0-7.5
  8. Or take the Batmans, the Dell, the Moon Knight and the graded Xmen for $400 shipped…while it lasts
  9. SOLD PER PM Marvel Spotlight 28. First solo Moon Knight issue. Spine ticks, a little tarnishing to staples, bottom of spine fray. Ink stains on back cover from the overspray as seen in the pictures. Calling it VF/VF+ Asking $250 shipped
  10. SOLD PER PM Batman 190 (3.0 range) and Detective Comics 473 (4.0 range) 190 has a cool stamp. Also a one inch cut through the book along top edge. The centrefold is detached. 373 has general wear and a finger print smidge near batmans head. Asking $85 shipped for the pair
  11. I guess I just like to image some awkward office type guy who is the designated sniffer…. “Hey earl….this one smell like a 9.6 to ya? He just sits there like an assembly line, taking whiffs of that sweet sweet newsprint
  12. Legit question. And maybe this is why people don’t get the high grades they are anticipating on their older books. If there are two identical 9.6 copy books of say Hulk 181. One smells fresh and clean but the other has a slight acidic odour of some kind, maybe denoting possible paper degradation that may worsen in the future. Could that explain why it got a 9.4 and the other remained a 9.6? I only ask because (and I’m not saying CGC refers to Overstreet grading breakdowns) but overstreet mentions page smell in the lower grades is all. That doesn’t mean a structurally sound book can’t smell a little off though….
  13. Almost 100 views means I’m too expensive here. Price drop time. $260 USD shipped
  14. I’ll venture a smidge lower 6.0. The spine crease, edge wear and back cover all have flaws which I think bumps it down. Cleaning up the back might give it a shot at 6.5
  15. One book here. Planet Comics 44. Flaws include -edge chipping and tears -2.5 inches rip through cover -general wear As a result, I will call it a 2.5. Asking $300 USD shipped or best offer. First claim takes it, offers welcome! Payment via PayPal only please. I’m shipping from Canada so if that is an issue for you as a buyer please don’t purchase. If you are unhappy upon receiving the book, tell me and I will happily fix the issue. Thanks for looking!
