Is everyone still having the issue where you get randomly logged out of the forums after some number of days, and then you have to sign in again?

(and in my case there’s an extra step where, even though it appears I’m already signed out, I have to “sign out” again before I can actually log back in)

Was there a fix announced for this which I missed, or is everyone just living with it like me?

Yup, on multiple devices.  Quite frustrating.

saw it the other night. Bale was excellent and I see why he was upset that so much of his performance was cut. I want to see him scrape those religious markings off! I too want to see the more serious movie with more Gorr. This won't be seen again. Jane Foster looked great as Thor and Valkyrie is growing on me but the tone is horrible. Naked Thor was funny though.

And Sif back...for nothing really. I don't find the humor as disrespectful to the characters, they are fictional after all, but this part with Sif just made her into an insufficiently_thoughtful_person.

One thing I did like was when Gorr would fade in from the darkness with the glowing eyes being the 1st thing noticeable.   Kinda reminded me of the original Salem's Lot - not to date myself.

I liked Ragnarok. It's one of my favorites in the MCU. It's humor was great and I enjoyed the film not taking itself too seriously.

Love & Thunder took those aspects too far and most characters were turned into a joke. It had it's moments but it was a disappointment. I'm glad I didn't spend any money in the theaters on it.

    4.5

Just watched it last night. This sums it up perfectly.

Oh let's not forget when they "broke the internet." I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Didn't know there was a remake?

breaking the internet, speaking Italian,  that episode where they faked her death and she was getting pushed down the hallway on a roller chair which made her look like a floating head to the guy in the office....

yeah I've only watched the original.   Reviews I read of the version they brought back weren't as good

I actually found it difficult to get through the first episode.  I'll keep watching, and I imagine things will liven up quite a bit once Death and Matthew the Raven appear on the scene.  After all, Dream is intentionally a monotonous, unsympathetic protagonist, so he needs someone there to react to his oh-so-straight man schtick.

The other problem is the comic is really about storytelling itself.  And film-- even moreso than comics-- is the show, don't tell medium.  Hard to imagine this series will do more visually for the dreamscape than movies like Inception have done. So we're left with the more cerebral and/or verbal approach, which can be hard to translate to film.

Feeling the same after watching the 1st episode.  I'll add the green screen didn't help as I thought it some of scenes made it obvious the actors were in front of one.

Anyone else watching this crazy show? As it is so much great savagery while we wait for Netflix to sort out its Conan the Barbarian show.

    :headbang:

I mentioned it on another thread about what you are binging as a must watch.      Not that I'm binging it though with everything else to watch.   Just started the 2nd season.

If you're a fan of Samurai Jack, you'll love this show.   If you don't know who Samurai Jack is, you'll still love this show (and then go watch Samurai Jack!)

I'm watching it on Hulu.   A great TV weekend between Prey and the start of Sandman and filling time in between with Primal!  (Now we need  new seasons of One-Punch Man & Invincible)

How do I Reholder books from PGX and CBCS? I have a PGX graded Fantastic Four 48 and prefer your opinion. Thanks

They're going to re grade it.  They're  not going to simply honor the PGX /CBCS grade and reholder it

Well, I just meant things like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones, shows that have their own dedicated threads.

Dark - Netflix german sci-fi/mystery  (has english dub but I found the voice acting not that great.  Note this is a series you really have to pay attention to)

Kingdom - Netflix   Japanese feudal times combined with zombies

Santa Clarita Diet - Netflix  comedy starring Drew Barrymore/Timothy Oliphant where Drew suddenly becomes a member of the Undead.  They try to figure out why &how and try to keep their family together

The IT Crowd - Netflix comedy about two IT nerds and the ditzy manager who gets assigned to them.

Servant - Apple M Night based series about a couple recovering from the loss of an infant.  Also stars Nell Tiger Free from GoT as a nanny.  Took a few episodes to get hooked on

Primal - Hulu   anime in the style of Samurai Jack about a caveman & a dinosaur bonding. No dialogue in series

  9. You can think of it an insurance value if something happens to it while CGC has possession of it (or the shipping company since the value can drive the return shipping cost)    IE What would it cost you to find a similar replacement raw comic. Note that you can pick any tier you want to (as long as the age fits)   CGC won't refund you if you pick a higher tier that what the book eventually is determined to be worth.  The can also charge you additional money if the tier you pick is too low (though I only see mention of that when there is a wide discrepancy between submitted FMV and the final grade)
