  1. To the best of my knowledge, yes. Though the past seasons they've filmed should stay available in their library.
  2. Friday I was about to turn up the driveway with the dog when he saw the mail truck turn onto the street. Knowing he would be given a treat, he refused to budge. When he got to my house he said I had a package in the back. I ended uo with one hand on the leash with the other holding the mail and the package. So he got to sign again for me, this time at my request.
  3. Netflix cancelled the Punisher after the last season
  4. That's a great logo. Thanks for the closeup!
  5. Nice pics. You from there or just traveling?
  6. Wish I took a little early better care of my swamp thing back in the day
  7. Just got it back. Enoy the holiday and thanks to all!
  8. If cgc determines the final value belongs in a higher tier, they could charge you more. If it should've been in a lower tier you won't get a refund. If u you look at the fees, it's a few -$80 diff unless you're talking 'walkthru'. You're probably gaining a lot more value than if it stayed in the original tier. However, I've seen posters say they received books in grades, which should've put them in upper tiers, but never were asked for more. I've also seen posters state they were asked for an additional charge. I don't know the rhyme or reason as to why or why not.
  9. Bunching similar tiered books is the way to go to minimize costs. Low priced moderns will be $20 per book plus a handling fee ,add in shipping both ways and you can see how it eats into the profit. Only thing is, you need a bunch of similarly tiered books. If you know someone you could always try and combine an order.
  10. I've haven't heard of auction houses slabbing raw comics someone sends them. Plus there's the choice to put them thru pressing/dry cleaning. If u slab you can have CGC do the pressing of go thru 3rd party presses.
  11. nice - not sure how much that small cover tear hurts it 7.5-8.0
  12. So what good runs/story arcs did you end up reading? Had I been on this thread back then I would've recommended that Alan Moore/John Totelben Swamp Thing run and the Veitch followup run. Not so much for monetary value but great stories/art.
  13. So psyched for this movie. Spent many many Saturday mornings as a kid lying in bed watching the 13 inch B&W TV on UHF channels showing Godzilla films. Won't be home this weekend so will prob catch a weekend morning matinee the following week
  14. You should post some scans in the Sparee A Grade forum when you get them. Not all defects can be cured with a press/clean
  15. What is that mark on the Back LRC under the Y on the word 'hobby'? As is, I'd say a 9.6 if that is some type of indentation coupled with the back URC. If that presses out it could make 9.8
  16. My thought is they're too blurry. I wonder what the record is for # sigs on a cover?
  17. Another vote for Crisis on Infinite Earths
  18. 1st storage was a clothes box (in the late 70's). After a short while and noticing the spine bend in them, I figured out to flip every other one. I shoulda patented/copyrighted that idea back then!
  19. Is that a fold in the front LRC? Certainly still has its gloss. Doesn't seem to have spine tics but the pic gets fuzzy when I enlarge it. the slight spine roll and that corner tear are the only defects I can pick up. Maybe a 7.5 as is? Not sure how much that corner knocks it down. Increase it a half to press out the spine roll
  20. you can go search Ebay completed listings or Watchcount (which also can srch thru Ebay completed sales) and see what graded issues are selling for, then for whichever issues you feel are monetarily worth it for you, post a topic for that issue here. You can also try the free part of GoCollect to get a ballpark idea of what Sandman issues go for. Welcome!
  21. My wife did get to talk to the mailman today. He said he saw my daughter pull up into the driveway and assumed she was going to get the mail. So he said he signed it and put it in the box. She said she told him several more would becoming over the next several weeks and that they're important to me so we'd appreciate it if we could sign for them. He said no problem and that was that.
