    What was the seller's return policy? I have returned several 9.8 CGC books in the past for similar issues.

    I'd have the tape removed and see if they can remove the writing without wrecking the book- though my communications experiences with CGC restoration team were... frustrating.

    I basically only buy and collect slabbed books at this point. I hated worrying about raw copies getting damaged, and also like the certainty of knowing exactly what I own in regards to grade and restoration.

    oh yeah I don't think anyone is debating that it's gone up in value; just the reasons it hasn't matched other BA 1st appearances like Ghost Rider and Moon Knight.
